Get ready for some more R-rated humor from the "American Pie" gang. Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy have reportedly all signed on for the latest film in the racy franchise, "American Reunion."
According to the Wrap, original cast members Alyson Hannigan, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein and Mena Suvari are all in talks to return, as is Stifler's mom, Jennifer Coolidge.
Scott, who played obnoxious Steve Stifler, recently checked into treatment, his rep told CNN.
"Seann William Scott has voluntarily admitted himself for proactive treatment to address health and personal issues," his rep said in a statement. "He appreciates the support of his many fans at this time." Further details on what those issues may be were not provided.
The 34-year-old has had roles in movies like "Dude, Where's My Car?" and "Role Models," and was most recently seen in the Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis film "Cop Out." A source tells the Wrap Scott's treatment won't impact filming, which is set to begin May 24.
Though there have been several straight-to-DVD spin-offs starring a whole new cast in recent years, "American Reunion" is technically the fourth installment in the popular film series. Together, "American Pie" (1999), "American Pie 2" (2001), and "American Wedding" (2003) have grossed $755 million worldwide.
