'American Pie' reunion movie in the worksGet ready for some more R-rated humor from the "American Pie" gang. Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy have reportedly all signed on for the latest film in the racy franchise, "American Reunion." According to the Wrap, original cast members Alyson Hannigan, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein and Mena Suvari are all in talks to return, as is Stifler's mom, Jennifer Coolidge. Scott, who played obnoxious Steve Stifler, recently checked into treatment, his rep told CNN.
"Seann William Scott has voluntarily admitted himself for proactive treatment to address health and personal issues," his rep said in a statement. "He appreciates the support of his many fans at this time." Further details on what those issues may be were not provided. The 34-year-old has had roles in movies like "Dude, Where's My Car?" and "Role Models," and was most recently seen in the Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis film "Cop Out." A source tells the Wrap Scott's treatment won't impact filming, which is set to begin May 24. Though there have been several straight-to-DVD spin-offs starring a whole new cast in recent years, "American Reunion" is technically the fourth installment in the popular film series. I was so desperate to see another American Pie movie with the original cast that I was planning contact people in Hollywood who can make it happen. I typed "make another american pie" at Google & found thing page.
To the cast & crew of American Reunion : Please work hard like you did in the first & second part. By now you guys must have found out what went wrong with the third one. So, don't repeat the mistakes. We expect a lot from you guys. Best of luck & thanks in advance.
I loved the first 3, didn't bother to watch Beta House, Naked Mile, Band Camp or Book of Love, so I'm excited to see the original cast members together again. Hopefully I won't be disappointed. 🙂
I absolutely have room for another slice of American Pie if it is served with a heaping helping of the creative talent that made the previous theatrical films so irresistible.

After American Wedding, you think they would have realized that they go everything out of these movies after "American Pie 2", Stifler's mom was not that hot to begin with, she is now 50 and is far less hot than she was in the first movie in 1999. Really, put this one on the shelf, don't bother making it...it will suck.

Hollywood just can not leave things alone. The first one was very good and should have stopped there. The second and third were just ok and everything else after that tarnished the name. Can you imagine if all the classic teen movies were made today? The Breakfast Club 2: the Brunch Club, Ferris Bueller's Another Day Off, Still Better Off Dead, etc. I'm lucky I grew up in an era were Hollywood still had some originality.

Yes, I want Finch to be in the movie as well! I'm sad to hear Sean William Scott is having trouble, he is an actor who has done very well succeeding in films. They could even bring Nadia back! I loved all the movies, I'm happy to see Chris Klein is back. Can't wait!

Agreed...First one was watchable, then the pre-teen humor became predictable and over-used. Unfortunately, there is an audience for this regurgitated mess.
