On-off couple Sienna Miller and Jude Law are officially off again, and now the actress is setting the record straight about their most recent split.
"The amount of speculation surrounding my romantic life is astounding," Miller tells the Guardian newspaper. "It's strange how involved people get: invested and angry, really disappointed."
The blonde beauty met Law on the set of their film "Alfie" in 2004, got engaged shortly afterward, and split in July 2005 after he admitted to having an affair with his children's nanny. The pair reconciled last year and rumors swirled that Law had given Miller a diamond ring.
"Apparently, we were engaged," she says, before clarifying, "We weren't."
The couple split for good last month but Miller says there are no hard feelings between them.
"I think this happens in everyone's lives: you get back together, you try and make it work, and it doesn't," she explains. "It's not acrimonious, it had run its course."
