Yeah, this season is the best yet. I agree that the men got this locked in. Either James, Casey, or Jacob. Scottys got a contract regardless Id say. as for the gals Pia is the only one I see even making it to the top 5. The gals arent that good this time. Sorry. Judges are great. Finally theyve got ones who are musically literate and experienced enough to know what their talking about. Rock on AI!

Here's my picks (or the way I see the voting going as of now). #5-Jacob #4-Pia #3-Casey #2-James #1-Scotty. The top three could go in any order but I don't think anyone will be able to beat out Scotty, Country Music is just too popular with those who vote for Idol. I think Ashton will go tomorrow if it is only one, if it is two, I think Karen will go also. If it's a guy and a girl: Ashton and Stefano (although he is great). My personal favorites are Casey, James and I really liked Haley tonight.

Great picks – If the finals come down to Scotty and James – it will be so hard to pick. They are both terrific.
Scotty doesn't need to win to be successful in Nashville forever. I hope James gets enough out of AI to earn enough money to last him a lifetime, the kid an really sing.

This year is great – lots of good kids – I feel sorry for the girls, they are not going to catch a break this year.

Scotty is wonderful with a god given talent – all american boy image – hope AI doesn't screw him up and he keeps his life clean. Everone says he is a one trick wonder, but that one trick will last him a life time. I could listen to him sing for hours.

Great singers this year however, there are always going to be the ones that are just average. The judges this year are not so good. Jeniffer and Steve are not cutting it for me on American Idol. I have watched those two judges tell even the worst contestants they've did an excellent job. To be honest Randy is the only judge that actually judges the contestants and offers constructive feedback. Jennifer and Steve really do not even know how to judge the contestants and offer helpful feedback that could benefit the contestants.

I hate how everyone says these are two great judges when the only type of feedback they can offer to everyone is that you've done a great job. Kudos for Randy to actually offer feedback on the contestants strengths and weaknesses and what needs improvement.

Kudos to the judges for picking the fabulously talented singers on Idol this year! I am enjoying this Idol better than any other I have watched. I might add, it’s much more pleasant to watch without judges that rip the performers a new one every night.

James, Jacob and Casey are amazing, in general all guys are pretty good, girls can sing but are nowhere close near the guys ' talent

The guys on American Idol are good, but have you ever taught a middle school chorus class? I watch American Idol just cuz im sick of only hearing crappy guy singers. A lot of girls are sucky too but on average are WAY more likely to be good singers.I am a girl and I am an amazing singer–FYI. But im not good enough for American Idol:(

This season is by far the best thus far. Steve & Jennifer have been a refreshing change. Randy is better than ever. This years talent is over the top. The change is great. We like all the contestants.

Since Paula left, the show went downhill. Ellen D. put the last nail in the coffin. Now with J-Ho???
Sorry, I am not a fan no more.

"I am not a fan no more" is a double negative; which means You are a fan.
      s/b "I am not a fan anymore".
If you don't like it, don't watch it.
The show is American Idol not American Idol Judges.

I loved you as an Idol judge, but Steven and JLO are doing a great job. They bring something new to the judges table. I wasn't going to watch this season, but it is so good (both talent and judges) I'm watching.
