Lady Gaga addresses issues of sexuality in her music and now she's addressing her sex life in the new issue of Grazia magazine.
"I didn’t lose my virginity until I was 17. But I have to say even then I wasn’t ready and it was an absolutely terrible experience. It wasn’t good at all," Gaga tells the glossy, according to the Daily Mail.
Now 24, the "Born This Way" singer admits it wasn't until recently that she began to feel satisfied in the bedroom.
"I never actually enjoyed sex until two years ago. It was a proper monogamous relationship in which I felt free enough to trust and I had enough self love," says Gaga, who is dating musician/bar owner Lüc Carl.
Moreover, Gaga - who is currently promoting her M.A.C. Viva Glam lipstick, which benefits HIV and AIDS charities - says she has always played it safe when satisfying her desires.
"I have never not had safe sex, I have always asked a guy to be tested and to use protection, which was always my rule," she says. "Otherwise you’re playing Russian Roulette."
