Justin Timberlake plans to get back in the studioJustin Timberlake is about to give his music career a little tune-up: It sounds like the singer is finally ready to head back into the recording studio. "I'm unemployed right now," Timberlake, who has focused on films since releasing his last album, 2006's "FutureSex/LoveSounds," tells E! Online. "I haven't been hired for anything so I may hire myself to write some music." It's quite a turnaround for "The Social Network" star, who told Entertainment Weekly in October 2010 that he wasn't sure when, if ever, he would make another record. A new suspect on 'Pretty Little Liars'This was a big week for our favorite pretty little liars. No, they didn’t find out who A is, if Jenna is actually blind, why Ian is such a creep, or anything else, for that matter. They did, however, see each of their love interests in a new light. (Hanna more so than the others, but I’ll get back to that.) Aretha Franklin: I've lost 25 poundsAretha Franklin has dropped 25 pounds since undergoing surgery in December, and now the music legend is revealing how she managed to drop three dress sizes. "I go to the healthier foods that are less chemically treated," the Queen of Soul tells Jet magazine. "I am drinking lots of water to get rid of the toxins in my body. It's a natural flushing. Water flushes your system and is also very good for your skin." Franklin has been eating more vegetables, including the "Aretha Salad" — radishes, tomatoes, red onions, olives, carrots, shredded cheese, ranch dressing and lemon — but she still indulges from time to time. ‘Chuck’: Like father, like daughterNot to get all philosophical right off the bat, but let me ask you this, “Chuck” fans: Can an episode be awesome despite a complete absence of Awesome? I’m going with yes. It helps that the show didn’t take long to start answering some of the questions left hanging at the end of last week. For starters, the key that Volkoff gave his daughter Vivian reveals a customer card to an exclusive bank. Volkoff’s lawyer Riley shows up to help explain things and try and persuade Vivian to re-start her father’s evil empire. Brad vs. elephants on 'The Bachelor'Last night's "Bachelor" episode began with Brad packing for his trip to South Africa to meet the three remaining contestants. Brad appeared to be bringing just one carry-on bag - either he has a big problem with baggage fees or he's quite the expert on folding clothes. As he soon as Brad arrived, he found himself stuck in what can best be described as an "elephant crossing zone." That wasn't the last we saw of elephants this trip. Brad's first date was with Chantal, and the two went on a safari, perhaps to break in the spiffy new safari hat Brad was wearing. Brad was pleased to see a lion "10 minutes into the trip," although I'm sure that was guaranteed in the brochure. We also got to see giraffes, zebras, rhinos and, you guessed it, elephants. Charlie Sheen tells his side of the storyCNN’s Piers Morgan scored an hour-long interview with embattled actor Charlie Sheen, who said he wanted to “right some terrible wrongs.” He admitted skipping some rehearsals for “Two and a Half Men,” but insists that he was on the set and ready to go on all important days. At one point in the interview with Morgan, Sheen pulled out results from a recent drug test that, according to him, show that he's clean. Does he wish he hadn’t done drugs? No...but he does regret smoking two packs a day for 25 years (even though he says he has the lungs of a non-smoker.) |
