‘Top Chef's’ Fabio: 'Jersey Shore' in Italy is a recipe for disaster

Fabio Viviani was eliminated on last week’s episode of “Top Chef,” but the fan favorite isn’t done with reality TV just yet.

In an interview with xfinityTV.com, Viviani weighed in on the "Jersey Shore" cast heading to his native Italy for the 4th season of the show, and he made some dire predictions.

“They won’t make it out alive,” Viviani joked. “Maybe a couple of them are coming back, but most of them – they gonna chop them up and put them in a stew.”

Viviani admits to being a big fan of the "Jersey Shore" cast, but says he doesn’t think they offer the best representation of Italian culture.

“It’s a parody. ‘Jersey Shore’ for Italy is like ‘Scary Movie’ for ‘Scream,'" he said.

As for his own on-camera future, Viviani added that he might be up for another serving of “Top Chef,” although he’d like to approach the competition from a different perspective.

“I may go for a host position so I can say something about it and everyone else can shut up.”

Thought the "I can't believe it's not butter" Fabio was the one with something to say...

And for some odd reason, I also thought that the same Fabio I was talking about somehow pursued a career in cooking... I fail.

@D I think you were the only one that got what I was getting at.. Lol. I'm with you on that. What happened that the show got boring? I can't figure out what it is. Besides sam and ron fighting there is something else that's not getting me pumped to watch as before.

I thought that after this season, Jersey Shore would be cancelled, to be quite honest...It was entertaining at first...now it's just kinda-old.

I agree 100 percent. But if you and her was in a plane wreck and you were really really hungry and she had been cooked and had lots or A1 or bbq sauce on her. I mean i wouldnt want too but it would beat starving.
