Kathy Griffin heading to BroadwayThings are about to get a bit more wicked on Broadway: Kathy Griffin is hitting the Great White Way with a one-woman show, reports the New York Times. "While I have been asked to understudy for Spider-Man and take over for Al [Pacino] when he has finished his run in 'The Merchant of Venice,' instead I have decided to take my very own show to Broadway," jokes the comedian, who will star in "Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony" at the Belasco Theater from March 11-13 and 15-19. Griffin, who is making her Broadway debut, promises that each show will include "fresh material due to the revolving door of pop culture, political, and celebrity missteps.” Would you see Griffin on Broadway?
