Amber Riley: 'Glee' should do Chaka KhanAmber Riley really loves Chaka Khan. So much so that the “Glee” star has linked up with Essence magazine for a campaign to have her hit show feature the singer's music as a themed episode. Riley appears as Khan in a spread for the mag, and a Facebook page has been devoted to the campaign. “Chaka Khan is my favorite artist not only because her voice is absolutely amazing,” Riley told Essence. “She’s just creative, she’s different, she came out different. She had a different sound from anyone who was in her era.” Khan, whose hits include “I Feel For You” and “I’m Every Woman,” has been covered over the years by quite a few artists, including Whitney Houston. Riley said her favorite song by Khan is “Tell Me Something Good” and added that she would love to perform “I’m Every Woman” with the singer. “I don’t think I could sing with her though,” Riley said. “I was standing on stage with her and nearly shriveled into a raisin when she gave me a hug and a kiss. I was like ‘Oh my God!’” |

Glee is a big pile of SHYT.
otaaaaay
Glee should do Snoop Dog.
Sounds like a great idea to me. Loved Chaka too. I'd really like to see them do Stay...one of my favorites.
Never seen it, didn't even read the article. They should do Sade
Mr Shu already did "Tell me something good" doesn't she watch her own show?
I thought the same thing. Will sang it to Sue.
Tisk tisk, Amber.
She said that it was her favorite song, not that she wanted to sing it on the show.
Chaka's hit ' I Feel For You' was written and first performed by Prince and also mixed with Little Stevie Wonder's 'Finger Tips'. You wanna hear vintage Chaka, check out 'Night In Tunisia', 'Roll Me Through The Rushes', 'Got To Be There' and so on...

I would watch if they did Chaka Khan! Her music is great
For a second I thought "Wow... Precious chick has lost some weight..." but it wasn't her.
Chunka Khan
Does glee only have one gimmick, the themed episodes, to get people to continue watching it?
Isn't that what makes Glee fun to watch?
