Wills & Kate: The Lifetime movie

Forget that April 29 royal wedding — Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to hit the airwaves with a broadcast event: a TV movie on Lifetime.

The network has announced that it's working on "William & Kate," a biopic that follows the fairy-tale couple from their first encounter at Scotland's University of St. Andrews "through the ups and downs of their nine-year courtship complicated by social and Royal Family pressures, and intense global media attention surrounding their storybook nuptials," according to a statement from Lifetime.

Nico Evers-Swindell ("NCIS: Los Angeles") is set to play Prince William with Ben Cross portraying his father, Prince Charles. The coveted role of Middleton, who will go from commoner to kingdom, has not yet been cast.

"William & Kate" is expected to begin shooting in February, according to Deadline.com, with an air date to be announced.

Who do you think should play Kate Middleton?

maand wees de New Oxford American Dictionary bijvoorbeeld als Word of the Year 2009 aan: unfriend. (Je "ontvriendt" iemand als je ze schrapt als "vriend" op een netwerkwebsite als Facebook

Princess Diana’s been gone for more than a decade, and it’s about time the royal family gets a Hollywood treatment for a biopic on Diana. There has already been a pouring out of great wedding narrative films like White Wedding. It’s another great South African film that shares the same excellence as District 9 or Invictus.

Mike Meyers would make an incredible Prince William. He could play it up like in the Austin Powers movies. It would be fantastic.

But you clicked on the story and commented. You don't know what Kate is capable of. No one had any idea what Diana would accomplish either.

    Rumer Willis or Kim Allen.

Please – enough of William and Kate!

Lovely as she is she isnt nor every will be another "Diana".
I for one will not take the time to watch this wedding. and in case anyone is wondering I am of British decent.
The only one of the Royal family that is worth anything is the Queen.

  23. Seriously

Why throw that part in about NCIS Los Angeles?? He had a 20 second part in 1 single episode. I hardly think that counts much towards full association with a hit TV show.
