Sylvester Stallone confirms 'Expendables' sequelSylvester Stallone is on a mission to reunite "The Expendables" dream team for another explosive adventure. "We're at work on it," Stallone, 64, confirmed to CNN at the Hollywood premiere of Jason Statham's "The Mechanic." "Because you have about five different scenarios, and you try to figure out which one will work the best: what area, the kind of stunts, and most important, what is the heart of the film? What is the reason for the mission instead of just guys running around — some purpose. That's the hard part."
The first "Expendables" starred Stallone, Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture as a group of mercenaries sent to South America to assassinate a dictator. Stallone jokes that Statham, 38, won't be getting much action the second time around. “Unfortunately, Jason has a terrible accident in the first scene and we just talk about him for the next two hours," he says. "He doesn't know that yet, so don't break it to him.” |

ih sylvester stallone what up
how aer you donig
i am fine
aer put jean claude van the movie
stanely
I thought that the first movie was excellent. It really brought back the old style of action movies with some of the greatest action heros of that period (Lundgren, Stallone, Willis etc etc.) Action movies today are terrible – they are genuinely cringeworthy but I really enjoyed the Expendables. I would rather watch the Expendables than most of the other movies out today and I am including all genres not just action (Twilight for example can take a run and jump.) I am really looking forward to another movie and hoping that Lundgren will get a bigger part in it. So hopegully Sly will pull another good classic action movie out of the bag.
Expendables 2 will be awesome. I liked the first one, just your basic, crazy action movie.
people just dont understand how hard packing fudge is. it is seriously hard work. until sylvester came along their was not a fudge packing union. he raised these folks up and gave them a sense of self worth.
Its a black thang
plus dont make fun of the movie FIST. it is a historical drama about the organizing of the fudge packing industry in the 1940s.
i did really like the sci fi movie he did with wesley snipes. judge dread too. plus the original first blood movie. yeah i guess he is a likeable actor. ive seen most of his movies and will watch em again if i get a chance.
Yea, First one rocked. Hoping for a better one this time!!!!
poor little fella looks like snookis dad.
The first one was bad enough. Why waste our time again? Jason was the ONLY reason I watched it the first time!
but travolta didnt use to work at the fudge factory like this tiny lil fella.
Llama farmer..... Their really giving John Travolta the business about playing Gotti in a upcoming movie. Want to go over to that blog and goof on Travolta for a while?
What does that say about use.......We watched all that crap.
That you're awesome, you know what i"m sayin
Llama farmer..... Rhinestone Cowboy and Cobra. this is getting funny.
Yes, Yes those are fine. They highlight his macho physique and higher intellect, but Judge Dredd did more than that, if you recall. It showed us his thespian roots and inner turmoil...
Look at the picture of Sly and Dolf. They both look older than they did a few years ago.
the hell with all this b.s. news how about the steelers black head coach mike tomlin who has already won a superbowl and on his way to another one who is by the way better than i need to cheat to win it all patriots head coach bill bellichick
i just hope they will make it in 3D. slys tiny little feets and muscles will be so lifelike. will they show the crate he has to stand on when doiing a scene.
F.I.S.T., yes now there was some dramatic work.
Also Stop or my mom will shoot. The on screen seckual tension with Estelle Getty was amazing.
This has to be the absolute worst collection of "actors" ever in any film.
Hey Llama dude.....come on...don't forget the classic's....Lords of Flatbush...F.I.S.T. and Paradise Alley.
When you're talking recognition, you're referring to something other than the Oscars he won for "Rocky" for movie and writing, right?
The guy makes action movies for people who like action movies. I loved The Social Network, The Fighter, The Expendables and the Kings Speech last year. None of them are similar.
But I'll also agree, the guy has made some AWFUL movies. Stop or my Mom will shoot? well, that ends that discussion 🙂
watch it herman. that tiny little midget sly has a deep voice.
Your right Samantha....I'm just a railrosd worker that doesn't know any better. Sly is the greatest actor of all time and his movies are under rated. When will the Academy Awards recognize this man.
I agree JR with your agreement of Samamtha. As a Llama farmer I only graduated sixth grade and adore Sly's material. When will the Almighty Oscar recognize the man who brought us Tango and Cash?
i used to think he was a big star until i met him. once you see him in person you think he is just silly. as on tom sellek or robyn williams silly.
he is just so little and tiny though. i cant see how anyone takes him serious. have you ever saw him in person – he is like a muscly little midget.
finally a mans man, well typed ManMountain, how I do applaude thee. very well stated. Mr. Stallone is 64? Well swoon me if my hubby would look so fit even at 31, I think i shall prod him on down to the local excercise yard when he arrives home upon this evening.
Keep it up Sly,you're da best."Expendable" was Xplosive, though i was expecting to see Van Damme vs Jason Statham, missed it! Watched the 'Mechanic' trailer at http://www.gbooza.com/group/moviesvideostv cant wait to see more of it. Bravo!
hahaha, when you misspell in all caps it looks even more silly, its DYING not DIEING, hahahaha, and me thinks we can all tell the difference between a movie and real life you silly bloke.
JR, whats your latest movie? You have had a better career than sly? wow, do tell us all please!
AWESOME
sylvester must be retarded. i dont mean to be mean but gosh. isnt he just one of the dumbest acting people in hollywood.
Sly isn't dumb, just needs money so why not make another useless story base film that (easy)people will go see and pay for. some people just likes chocolate....
DONT YOU KNOW THERE'S A WAR GOING ON IN CAIRO RIGHT NOW, HOW CAN YOU PUBLISH THIS GARBAGE ABOUT A BUNCH OF FAKE PEOPLE MAKING A FILM ABOUT A FAKE WAR. PEOPLE ARE DIEING AND SLY'S LAUGHING AND JOKING AND TRYING TO MAKE A BUCK. THIS IS WHY THIS COUNTRY IS IN SO MUCH TROUBLE.
I agree with CAPSman here, we need to worry more about the Taliban parachuting into the mall of America and inappropriately touching our pampered dogs. We don't have time for 80 year old former action movie stars that used to do pron.
whoa whoa whoa people, you're missing the importance of these movies. you're not using that critical thinking you used back in school. think about the psycological impact these movies and action stars have on AMERICANS. we love this kind of stuff. Kick'in *** and taking initials.... BECAUSE HERE COMES MORE TERRORIST SO WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO TAKE NAMES. once young men watch movies like this they'll feel themselves filled with a since of duty to get up and join the fight. JOIN THE FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISTS. this will help fill the ranks of our military and add to the support needed to assist in world crisis........ or just go play Call of Duty: Black Ops.
You're right, there is a serious scenario in Egypt. That's probably why they posted this story in the ENTERTAINMENT section.
And when did the artsy snobbish folk who think their poo don't stink, take over the comments section? Was "The Expendables" a good movie? No. Was it fun? Hell yes.
OH GOD PLZ NO
Hey Sly....... when you going to work on a scenairo were you stop making Horse S..t movie's?
ur an idiot, who has no clue in life
