James Franco: I made a sex tapeOscar nominee (and ceremony host) James Franco makes award-worthy movies these days, but there's one flick from his past you may never see: a sex tape he made in his teens. In a Newsweek discussion about the challenges of shooting big-screen kissing scenes, the 32-year-old "127 Hours" star revealed that he had once recorded a private encounter, with devastating results.
"I think if anybody who has made a home sex tape knows, what feels best doesn’t always look best [laughter]. I remember when I was 19 doing that, and then watching it back and thinking, oh, that looks horrible," he said. "You have a lot of respect for those actors in pornography, because they are really not just doing it, they’re really selling it." Speaking of porn, Franco is reportedly in talks to star in "Lovelace," a new biopic about '70s adult-film star Linda Lovelace. Deadline.com reports that he'll play Lovelace's husband Chuck Traynor, whom she later accused of forcing her into prostitution and pornography. Kate Hudson has reportedly been offered the title role in the movie, which is not the same project Lindsay Lohan was attached to.
