The 22nd annual GLAAD awards: Who's nominated?

“The Kids Are All Right,” “Burlesque” and “Easy A” are among the more than 100 films, TV shows, musical artists, plays, comic books and news organizations nominated for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation’s 22nd annual media awards.

The awards - meant to honor those who have displayed “outstanding images of the LGBT community” in the media - also mark GLAAD’s 25th year of promoting equality in the media.

Three ceremonies will take place within the coming months - New York on March 19, Los Angeles on April 16 and San Francisco on May 14.

In addition to the standard categories, independent blogs will be recognized for the first time this year.
