In a new interview with Ellen DeGeneres revealed today, Paula confesses to Ellen that she did watch “American Idol” when Ellen was a judge on the show.
“I thought you did a good job," Paula tells Ellen. "I thought you handled yourself with poise and elegance. You handled yourself the right way that is authentic to who you are.”
Ellen is no longer a judge on “Idol," but Paula’s new show “Live to Dance” will be competing against “Idol” for viewership! The big question today is: Can she beat “Idol”?
I think it will be tough to beat – it’s got a built-in fan base. I think Paula’s show will do well, but she has the challenge of a brand new show, selling it to an audience, building a fan base, gaining strong viewership – but as we know, Paula is determined and loves a challenge!
