'Glee' not doing Justin Bieber tribute episodeJustin Bieber fans are probably singing the blues now that "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has denied rumors of an upcoming Bieber-based episode. TVLine recently reported that the hit Fox series had planned to do a tribute to the teen idol on its February 15 show, with the cast singing several of the pop star's songs. But Murphy tells the Hollywood Reporter it just isn't so. "'Glee' is NOT doing a Justin Bieber tribute episode," he says. "We are doing an episode where Sam [Chord Overstreet] sings a Bieber song to win Quinn [Dianna Agron] back ... and copies his hairstyle, etc."
But, Murphy cautions, "It's a small part of a big episode that has a LOT of other things going on." What's more, there will be fewer "Glee" tribute episodes in the future. "We are not doing any more of those this season," says Murphy. "Those are reserved for artists with a big catalog, à la Madonna and Britney."

Thank God! Glee has an amazing reputation for making bad songs amazing. But, really JB? His music CAN'T be fixed.
I would be FURIOUS if they did a Bieber episode. EW ew ew ew ew to him. More than just 15-year-old girls watch the show. Let's appeal to them, too, please.
I find it rude that you assume that all 15-year old girls love justin bieber because i, for one, cannot stand him or his songs AT ALL.
And i also agree. I would absolutely FURIOUS if they did a Bieber episode. Even this sam singing a bieber song thing is making me angry. Why would they pollute this show with something like that? WHY?!
I'm glad they are not doing a Justin Beiber tribute. First, I'd boycott the show if they did. Second, for someone to give you a tribute, don't you have to have talent? Justin B does not. And finally, why? He belongs on the Disney label and nothing else.

That's disgusting to think there were RUMORS that they were doing a Bieber-themed episode. Hopefully the one song they sing will be one of his less atrocious ones...good luck with that. I'm sure Chord Overstreet (Sam) will do well with whatever they give him 🙂
