Brad meets the ladies (and a vampire) on 'The Bachelor'

Last night's "Bachelor" premiere opened with host Chris Harrison letting us know that this season is already one of the most "shocking" in show history. Guess he never got that thesaurus I sent him over the holidays.

Since Brad Womack is this year's "Bachelor," let's go back to 2007, when he famously rejected both Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas at the end of his first season. Brad claims he was a broken man when he came home from the show, reduced to eating food out of bowls, surfing the Internet and showing off his ugly back tattoo to the world.

Now, after three years of therapy, Brad believes he has a handle on the trust and commitment issues he struggled with the first time around. He's ready to return to the show and potentially face another three years of therapy.

Jason Schwartzman's a new dad

Way to keep the bundle of joy swaddled and out of the limelight.

Jason Schwartzman's rep confirmed to CNN that the actor and his wife, Brandy Cunningham, became the parents of a daughter, Marlowe Rivers Schwartzman, on Dec. 4 in Los Angeles, California.

Schwartzman, 30, is currently starring in the HBO series "Bored to Death." The new parents have been married since July 2009.

TLC's Clinton Kelly not a fan of 'Palin's Alaska'

"What Not to Wear" host Clinton Kelly doesn't like TLC's style when it comes to their program choices. The fashion expert says he isn't happy appearing on the same network as Sarah Palin.

"I wasn't thrilled when I heard that Sarah Palin had an eight-hour infomercial, you know, on my network because she basically stands for everything I don't stand for or I'm against. So it's a little bit rough," Kelly said of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" during a recent appearance on HLN's "The Joy Behar Show."

But what most bothers 41-year-old Kelly is what he views as hypocrisy.
