It seems there's no life left in the marriage of "Dexter" co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter. The couple have announced that they've split up.
"Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce," their reps tell CNN in a joint statement.
Carpenter, 31, wed Hall, 39, on December 31, 2008, and stood by him as he battled Hodgkin's lymphoma this year.
"The triumph of a man, to have gone through something like that and not even give the crew any suspicions that he was in any sort of need, it's impressive," she told the New York Times in September.
Access Hollywood reports that Carpenter attended Sunday night's season 5 finale party alone and often talked about their troubles on the set of the hit Showtime series.
Now their co-stars are worried about how the actors – who play brother and sister – will get along when they start shooting the upcoming sixth season.
