'Showbiz Tonight' Flashpoint: Is the Hoff's career in crisis?
“The Hoff” is not having a good day today!
His new reality show,“The Hasselhoffs" - which featured his two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley, as they chased their dreams for careers in the entertainment business - just got the proverbial rug pulled from under it.
A&E canceled the show after airing only two episodes! Maybe the Hoff’s first lesson to his grown daughters should be, “you gotta roll with the punches!" I can tell you, it hasn’t been a good year for the actor.
Before this, he got voted off “Dancing With the Stars” after only one week! And before that, he was dropped by “America’s Got Talent” as a judge. The only thing we actually learned from “The Hasselhoffs” in this short-lived reality show is that he’s broke! At least, that’s what the Hoff is claiming. And I gotta say, I am just shocked that he blew through all that “Baywatch” money! I have a great idea about what “The Hoff” should do next. You will have to tune in to the show to hear it!
And today, "Showbiz Tonight" is also getting up close and personal with Hollywood’s biggest stars - stay tuned for some explosive plastic surgery confessions! Wait until you hear which stars really regret getting nipped and tucked.
See you on "Showbiz Tonight" at 5 p.m. ET and again at 11 p.m. ET/PT on HLN today!

He always says he is a big star in Germany - I guess he should start packing his bags, ohwell too bad so sad
I so associate him drunkenly eating the hamburger! I always thought he was a handsome man, he just needs to pull it together. Baywatch residuals must be keeping him from being as broke as he claims. Otherwise, he should really hire someone to manage his finances!
What a piece of worthless work.......... 2 episodes of the show was 3 too many.
The reason why people weren't tuning into his show because we still have the video of him trying to eat a hamburger off the floor of his house while he was drunk. We're tired of the media glorifying those who have substance abuse problems and/or are unclear about whether or not they've received treatment for it. So to watch his show without any information of statements regarding his sobriety would be to add cash into his pocket, which in turn, could go straight to him buying more booze.
Regardless, he's still huge in Germany so I think the Hoff will be ok.
