'Glee' cast performs on 'X Factor' in BritainThe hit Fox television show “Glee” isn’t just a hit stateside. It’s also beloved in Great Britain and the gleeks were out in full force when the cast performed this past weekend on the semi-finals of “The X Factor.” The show created by former “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell is huge across the pond and so it was the coming together of phenomena when the two combined. The gig kicked off with a video into by the show’s characters Coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison). “Hey Will look, there’s Simon Cowell,” Lynch as Sylvester said. “There’s something about that guy I’ve always liked. I think it’s how he wears shirts that kind of show the shape of his nipples.” After that Morrison as Schuester introduced the McKinley High New Directions, the group sang Journey’s hit “Don’t Stop Believing.” One classic moment was when actress Amber Riley, who portrays Mercedes on the show, marched up and sang to Cowell. Riley was rejected when she auditioned for “Idol.” The “Glee” cast is scheduled to perform a tour in London. Click here to watch the performance. |

Analogues exist?
Finn, Sam and Britney were all there, they just happen to be out of frame in this pic.
Just an FYI this photo shows no Finn,Sam, or Britney....Look closer they are not all there and if you can tell who is behind them than you have x-ray vision.
Chris was filming with Darren and the rest of the Warblers.
Their performance was great. Pitty they couldn't have performed live on the result show. Stupid schedues!
LOVEEEE how Mercedes got into Simon's face and sang her heart out! God bless that girl and her amazing voice! How he can reject her I have no idea..What an idiot!
No Kurt?
Where is the guy who plays Kurt? I know the character isn't in the group right now but he's still part of the cast and was in New Directions for the song last year.
I noticed that too. They even had Chord Overstreet (Sam) performing with them and he wasn't even around for the "Don't Stop Beleiving" days of Glee. My guess is that Chris Colfer either had scheduling issues or was absent because he's not in the group on the show anymore.
It was a scheduling issue. He addressed it on his twitter account. But I wish he had been there too! 🙂
