Considering her unique stage name, you'd think Pink - born Alecia Moore – would have no problem coming up with the perfect moniker for her baby-to-be.
The 31-year-old singer, who is just over three months pregnant with her first child – a girl, according to her doctor – says that she and hubby Carey Hart are having a tough time deciding on baby names.
“We’re all over the place,” she tells Access Hollywood. “I’m all about meaning, and Carey feels like he had a girl’s haircut and a girl’s name, and he doesn’t want kids to have a weird name. I have to get him on the boat for originality, so I’m working on him.”
If the baby should turn out to be a boy, however, the couple have agreed to name him Jameson. “My dad’s name is James, and my brother’s name is Jason. [Carey and I] are both Irish, Carey’s middle name is Jason, [and] Jameson - we like whiskey," she explains. "That’s a no brainer.”
In truth, however, the "Raise Your Glass" singer has been avoiding alcohol since she found out she was expecting, despite some doctors saying it's fine to have an occasional sip.
“You know what? I thought I’d be like that - I couldn’t even comprehend someone not wanting wine,” she says. “But honestly, I just don’t. I don’t want anything bad.”
