Celebs join Web series aiming to help you sleep

Looks like Shannen Doherty's next project is going to be a real snooze. The former "90210" actress has signed on to star in a new Web series that will promote the importance of sleep.

"Suite 7," sponsored by the Better Sleep Council and distributed on MyLifetime.com, Hulu, and other sites, will revolve around different couples – including Doherty, Brian Austin Green, Ileana Douglas, and Milo Ventimiglia – who check into the suite and "unpack personal baggage," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Doherty and Ventimiglia will also direct episodes of the series, which hopes to highlight how proper sleep is crucial to health and well-being.

"Delivering your message through this type of branded entertainment has proven to be more effective than traditional delivery methods," says Better Sleep Council vice chairman Mark Quinn.

"Suite 7," which will run for seven episodes, is set to debut December 17.
