You could be the next Superman

The search for Superman has begun!

According to Deadline.com, Warner Bros. is "casting a wide net" to find the perfect actor to wear the son of Krypton's signature "S" shield in producer Chris Nolan's upcoming "Superman" reboot.

Insiders say the studio is seeking an actor between the ages of 28 and 32, and that the chosen one will likely be a relative unknown or possibly from a TV series.

"True Blood" star Joe Manganiello, 34, and "Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder, 32, are two of the names Deadline speculates could be under consideration for the role; however, as the site notes, hiring a series regular would prove difficult since the TV production schedule would likely conflict with the "Superman" movie's June 2011 start date.

That's good news for "The Social Network" star Armie Hammer, who, although on the young side at 24 years of age, has previously expressed interest in playing the superhero.

The Superman search is expected to be exhaustive and take quite a bit of time, with the studio auditioning hundreds of actors. In the meantime, tell us who you think would make the ideal Man of Steel.

Routh is my choice, but with a more traditional costume and BLACK hair with the correct "spit curl".

Car insurance plan is not at all genuinely appealing. Conditional upon that may state level your house is within, it can stay a fabulous smaller or even a much bigger section of your allowance compared with other people along condition ranges. What is the minimum amount for one's state? I have found this website beneficial to calculate economical auto insurance. I'm certainly very happy be here.

If any of you are into Smallville like I am then TOM WELLING is the only qualified person to meet the Man of Steel standards. I can't believe they haven't considered him. WAKE UP HOLLYWOOD!!!

As great as it would be to see Welling an Routh in the role, it realistically won't happen. The WB and Nolan want a reboot from all other incarnations.

    TOM WELLING
    JON HAMM
    HENRY CAVILL

Those are the only actors I want in the role. If it is someone else, I really won't care about the movie at all.
