Bristol, Willow apologize for Facebook tiradesBristol Palin is apologizing for Facebook tirades that she and younger sis Willow wrote after one user of the social networking site criticized their mom's new TLC show, "Sarah Palin's Alaska." Sixteen-year-old Willow fired the first shot after a school acquaintance named Tre wrote as his status update, "'Sarah Palin's Alaska,' is failing so hard right now." MTV reports that Willow responded with homophobic slurs, telling him, "Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I've seen pictures of, your disgusting ... My sister had a kid and is still hot." The teen then added, "Tre stfu. Your such a f--t." Next, 20-year-old Bristol chimed in, telling Tre, "You're running your mouth just to talk sh–." A few days later, however, the controversial "Dancing With the Stars" contestant realized that she and her kid sister had overstepped their boundaries. "Willow and I shouldn't have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize," Bristol wrote on her Facebook page on Wednesday, before thanking fans for backing her own reality-show effort. "On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in 'Dancing With the Stars.'"

Mrs.Palin can not instill any sense of self-esteem or security in her children, what makes all of you beautiful people ink that she can do so for our most amazing nation. I think that we all know that it is not necessary to use such hateful, disgusting words like fa**^t, to defend their mother. Anyone with any intellect at all knows that this kind of behavior is learned. It does not materialize from thin air. This kind of language is learned in the home. I dread to think what else might be common language usage in the Palin household. I definately do not think that I would want to win DWTS because of a vote for the worst Internet movement. The American people supporting the Palins seem to a very misguided group. All very lovely, but severely misguided.

They weren't negative comments about your family, they were negative comments about a show that features your family.
Not that I am in any way a Palin fan, but there are tons of people out there who mouth off the same way to people they barely know on the internet. The only reason we have more people chastising Bristol is because she is a little more well known than your average person. This doesn't excuse her behavior at all, but it doesn't make her more of a rude or mean person than anyone else who does it. I think we as people need to apply the same sense of etiquette and good manners that we use in person to the many online forums we use daily.

She is making millions off of people who come to see her say her "one liner's" ,and one's who buy her books that she writes just to "settle scores" . It saddens me to know that John Mc Cain actually chose Sarah to be his running mate and seeing Sarah in revenge mode b/c she lost the election. Sarah is far more bitter and vulgar than her children and the only thing in life that gives her any purpose and meaning for motivation is knowing that Obama is President and Sarah wants to live in the White House. All of the media attention centering around Sarah is her attempt to become President and have us as Americans to like the Palin family.Sarah and her followers are enjoying there success in bashing liberals and democrats as sore losers in the recent elections and even more so since Bristol made it to the finals. Lisa Murkowsi senator of Alaska says Sarah is a good motivator but as governor she lacks intellectual curiosity. Lisa wants a governor who can think of ways to improve policies and one who can think outside of the box. Sarah is a terrible role model and her children are a perfect example when things don't go their way the Palins only defense is I'm the victim. Bristol is the most recent example of being the victim saying Maks don't like me and my haters are trying to destroy me. When I watched Sarah's debut on TLC it is more obvious to me now what she really wanted to say all of the times I heard her say darn it Sarah. Sarah Palin and her family are a joke and indeed a PAIN.

I might be mistaken, but I thought the original comment Willow responded so badly to was a general comment about the show failing, not a direct attack on any one person. That's how I remember seeing it anyway, correct me if I'm wrong.

I feel sorry for these two girls having to put up with all the rudeness in America. I, too, would probably feel the need to respond in kind if my family was attacked. The difference, however, is that I have lived longer and realize the consequences of my actions. Please remember that they are still young. I'm sad that other posters feel the need to attack Bristol. Maturity is lacking everywhere it appears.

While I believe that most kids would defend their parents. Most children to not have a mother who was a former VP pick and is pondering a run for President. Celebrities and political children are targeted, which is absolutely not fair but reality. How many celebrities have you heard say, that they no longer read the criticisms that are printed about them? Unfortunately, using terms like "haters" and "enemies" in quotes on your FB page does not help matters. Maybe encouragement to stay off FB would be in order. Words have power and silence in some ways is a better way to deal with your critics. There will always be people who think you are great and those (not so much).
Perhaps if Sarah had sat her older children down and told them what it would be like to be in the limelight perhaps none of this would have happened. However, it appears that these girls were left to fend for themselves seeing that their mother probably quit parenting, much like she did her governorship, long ago.

Popular vote or not, the girl has been at this now up to this point (11th season) and she still don't have what it takes, not only is she slow on the steps and the idea of the show shes slow to be thinking like an adult and mother! Well there you have it folks! A real down to earth example of how the chain of family heritage and culture of logic and mannerism is passed on generation after generation. I mean Bristols mother may be polite and charming in the light of appearance but her actions of child bearing and up brining has shown poor choices in mannerism – and so it goes, a classic case of chain events, now Bristol can apologize all she wants for her actions on Face-book but it shouldn't be over looked, if this is a form of intimidation of abuse of power using your position just because your the offspring of someone "half famous" shouldn't mean that you can say or act anyway you like and expect recognition of wonderful behavior.
I hope the public sticks to seeing the real color of this whole thing and stop voting for the girl, its obvious they ALL need to do some soul searching and grow up a bit before they come off so high and mighty. Face it, the girl stinks! End of story!

Don't hold your breathe waiting for an apology from Sarah–she's too full of herself to admit when she is wrong. I am sure she passed that same quality down to her offspring.
