Danny McBride on receiving weird emails from Marilyn MansonIt’s no secret that if Marilyn Manson had his way, he’d be starring as Kenny Power’s sidekick Stevie Janowski on “Eastbound and Down.” In fact, Manson has taken his admiration to the point of emailing the show's star, Danny McBride. “I get weird e-mails from Marilyn Manson now,” McBride told MTV. “He sends me weird e-mails in the middle of the night of what he’s watching on TV, and you can hear him giggling in the background. One time he literally sent me a ‘Peanuts’ special I guess he was watching.” Arquette: I'm not the one who asked to separateRight on the heels of the announcement that David Arquette and wife Courteney Cox are in the midst of a trial separation after 11 years of marriage, Arquette decided to call in to Howard Stern’s radio show to reveal his side of what happened in their relationship. “Listen, we’re best friends,” Arquette, 39, told Stern of Cox, 46. “She’s the greatest woman I’ve ever met. I’m not the one who called this separation.” Arquette went on to explain that Cox gave him a motorcycle after their 11th wedding anniversary and told him, “I don’t want to be your mother anymore.” Family matters on 'Hawaii Five-O'I learned a lot by watching last night's "Hawaii Five-O." For instance, I learned that when normal traffic cameras won't work, you can call an aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf, flirt with someone on the other line and have her track the villain of your choice via satellite. I need to learn this trick the next time I'm in a traffic jam. I also learned that if you need to extract information from a hostile witness, you must beat said witness in a game of hoops, which is what McGarrett had to do to find an escaped prisoner. A second inmate, played by D.L. Hughley, offered to give McGarrett clues as to why the escapee left the slammer, but only if he beat him in basketball. Somehow, McGarrett found his inner Brent Barry and won the game. In between all the hoops action, gun play and various feats of derring-do, viewers were introduced to McGarrett's estranged sister, who welcomed herself to Hawaii by disabling an airplane smoke detector. Sis spent most of the show in "unofficial" police custody - both at the airport and at Five-O headquarters - but she did get the chance to bark at her brother and make fun of Danno's choice in neckwear. At least the siblings shared a poignant moment in front of their father's grave at the end of the show. Who should be the next 'Spider-Man' movie villain? The pieces are starting to come together for "(500) Days of Summer" director Marc Webb's version of "Spider-Man." He has his Peter Parker in Andrew Garfield, his Gwen Stacy in Emma Stone, and now his villain in "Notting Hill" actor Rhys Ifans (soon to be seen in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"). Yet, as EW.com reports, it's still a mystery as to which villain Ifans will portray. The speculation on social media is that he would be great as the Lizard, a.k.a. Professor Curt Connors, who was actually portrayed by Dylan Baker in the Sam Raimi-directed "Spider-Man" movies. Gavin Rossdale on his relationship with cross-dressing pop starBush frontman Gavin Rossdale, who’s now married to singer/fashion designer Gwen Stefani, is a man who knows what he wants – mainly because he was willing to experiment a bit to gain such clarity. Back in 2009, cross-dressing pop singer Marilyn told In Touch that he’d carried on a romantic relationship with Rossdale when he was a teen, a statement Boy George also made back in the mid-90s. Read the full Details interview with Rossdale The 45-year-old rocker tells Details that he believes he’s avoided talking about his relationship with Marilyn because “at the outset there was a sort of fear—that was right at the beginning of Bush, and I didn't want it to be part of it.” Somebody hand NeNe a tissue on 'Real Housewives'Don’t cry for me, NeNe Leakes. The latest episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” gave us a more emotional NeNe than I ever thought I would see. I was touched to witness her crying over her son, who she desires to see get his act together. And I hooted when she pointed out that she had to buy his story that he had no idea there was marijuana in his pocket when he went to visit a friend in jail because he couldn’t possibly be that stupid. |
