'South Park': 'Jersey Shore' editionThey’ve made fun of Nascar, Scientology and everything else under the sun, so the next logical step for “South Park” seems to be mocking the cast of “Jersey Shore.” New Jersey is taking over the nation state-by-state, and it seems that the residents of South Park are next, according to a press release from Comedy Central.“As the Jerseyites spill into Colorado and approach South Park, Randy and the boys stand strong against the onslaught.” The preview available on “South Park’s” website shows Randy and Stan with guns hiding behind piles of discarded furniture.
“Is it them, dad?” Stan asks. “Yup, they’re from Jersey alright,” he replies. The “Jerseyites” fist-pump their way toward the pair, with what appears to be Pauly D and The Situation leading the charge (gelled hair, cross tattoos and a “TS” belt buckle make the likenesses seem probable). There’s no telling how the state of New Jersey will feel about the episode, but two of MTV’s stars took to Twitter to voice their feelings. “I Always Wanted To Be On South Park !!!" Pauly D tweeted. “SOUTH PARK GOES JERSEY SHORE! WEDNESDAY! Yes! Finally!!!!!” Snooki tweeted shortly after. The episode will air at 10 p.m. EST on Wednesday. Let the fist-pumping commence. |

Pretty cool post... love this show though. By: Episodes Online
I think it is more of a slam on Eastern U.S young Italians if anything.
Let us not forget that the cast of Jersey Shore are not from New Jersey. They are from Newyork and Manhatten. Right?
Beaches from RHONJ was spot on. Snooki is a smooshing STD. Situation is a puss and needs fist pump on his worthless face, make it look like pasta with moldy sauce. Big improvement, I will charge plastic surgeon rates for that.
Gonna buy me a pink cadillac for my squeeze with the $$$.
I would really like to know if they are actors. Some situations appear so real (fights, swearing), you can't act like that. It's absolutely blown out of proportions but I think there is some truth in what they represent. If you take a second look, you realize that most of them show some form of common sense and manners, but TV fame and hormones are most often a dramatic mixture designed to blow up occasionally to keep us all happy and watching 🙂
UHHH, Jersey Shore is a TV show. With actors, scripts etc. Not real people. It is entertainment. Not real life. Snookie , The Situation and such are actors in a show!
The entire cast of the jersey are ny natives. The premise is wrong. Damn you MTV
You're wrong. Pauly D is from Rhode Island and Sammi is from New Jersey.
That episode was epic. Bin Laden sending in suicide planes to kill the Jersey trash was brilliant because the whole thing was a trap to kill Bin Laden. Plus, they got rid of the Jersey Things in the process. Snookie wanting mush mush was a fair representation of the real Snookie. Awesome.
The episode was funny yes, but the ending was in some real bad taste (even for South Park standards). Al Qaeda flying the planes into the NJ people and killing them? There were a lot of people from New Jersey that died in the 9/11 attacks. Ending just not cool in my book
I agree with Sean. Love South Park but didnt find this episode that funny and did not need to see Al Quaeda crashing into Americans. I did love Mrs. Broslovski's jersey name though.
I thought the ending was hilarious. After all of the things Matt and Trey have done, the ending isn't that offensive at all. I personally think Jesus in Imaginationland was much worse.
Trey and Matt are smart enough to know New Jersey people barely act like the Jersey Shore cast, so I'm sure they are going to focus on mocking the cast members. But that is pretty cool that Pauly D and Snooki are looking forward to the episode.
Being from New Jersey, I am becoming increasingly annoyed that the Jersey Shore cast are becoming "Jerseyites" and therefore representing that state in such a way. I'd like to see MTV re-cast The Jersey Shore with people that are actually from New Jersey!
Alright, I'll watch if I'm home. If not I'll catch it on-line. At least the Jersey Shore gang is cool about themselves being made fun of, just like the Kardashian girls did. I remember not that long ago when they poked fun at J. Lo & Ben Affleck, neither one had a sense of humor about it. Either way this'll be fun to watch.
MK that is just so goofy but you have a right to your opinion - the whole world does not hate America - just a few misfits like you !!
Jersey Shore is one of the reasons the rest of the world hates Americans.
I love how the Jersey Shore cast didn't understand that the South Park episode mocks their lifestyle and popularity. I don't understand why we watch such shows as Jersey Shore, because they don't provide an adequate representation of a state with a tarnished reputation in this country. That being said, I guess we all love to view drummed up drama devised in the form of a train wreck; it's engaging and entertaining. Thanks South Park; I'm glad you're making this point.

We'd love to hear what you think, and often.

I'm sure they understand that South Park is mocking them. South Park mocks everyone! They are rightfully honored that Trey and Matt chose to write an episode about them. It's all about being able to laugh at yourself. I would!
BTW, I am not in any way a fan of Jersey Shore...I think they all need to get jobs and get a real life like the rest of us.
the Avaerage people of New Jersey ( most of the cast of the show are from New York) well rejoice when South Park shows these morons what most of the people in the US think of them,.
New Jersey is just like anywhere else, lots of 'average' people and some local flavors you won't really find anywhere else. Our assumptions reveal more about ourselves than the people we target with them, no? IN any case, some poeple understand T-Shirt Time, and others don't.
They look like a bunch of prost!tutes/drug addicts. Which I'm sure they are in real life.
You're an idiot. lol
What an intelligent well thought out retort, Denise. Isn't it passed your bedtime?
I'm from New Jersey, but not quite as tan and stupid as the Jersey Shore people. Good thing South Park is slamming them
I feel bad for you. I can only hope that most people know that this show doesn't represent REAL people in New Jersey. Hopefully in true South Park fashion, the cast will be ridiculed, and killed off. Now THAT'S good TV.
