Katherine Heigl doesn't plan on returning to 'Grey's'If you're still missing Katherine Heigl on "Grey's Anatomy," you're not alone. The actress says that while she, too, misses her character Dr. Izzie Stevens, she doesn't plan on ever returning to the hit TV series. "That chapter is closed, and it's sad, and it's hard," 31-year-old Heigl admitted to MTV. Though fans might have been hoping that Izzie – who has been MIA since leaving both Seattle Grace Hospital and husband Alex in January - would pop up again to tie up loose ends, Heigl said they shouldn't hold their breath. "I can't think of any way that she could come back gracefully that wouldn't just feel manipulative," said the star, who left the ABC show to focus on being mom to Naleigh, the daughter she adopted with singer hubby Josh Kelley. "And, it's hard, because I really wonder what she's doing and where she is and what happened, but that is over for me now."

I love Izzie but she went away she left about the show so ungrateful and her films are all the same nothing so talented ... I love Alex Karev and I hope there is a turning point for him with a new love ... I'm just tired of Izzie!!!stop speak about her!!

NOOOO, I love Izzy!!! Very disappointed!!! Hiegl is one of the main reasons why I got into Grey's. Although I do love all the actors, I was looking forward to seeing where her character went from last season. She might not be on the show anymore, but that doesn't mean she won't make an appearance.....cross my fingers. I think it's great she's a mom and I love all her movies!! I would say good luck to you but you don't need it, your great!!!!
I personally LOVE Katherine Heigl!! She's funny, brilliant, gorgeous & I've loved ALL of her movies. She may be big headed, but most actors/actresses are...take a look around Hollywood!
She got too big for shoes. Her loss. I did like her. But now? Who cares. Izzy? Kill her off. Alex has to move on.
buh-bye, Katherine Heigl! Glad to see such a whiny, ungrateful actress go. GA is better off without her, though i feel sorry for Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) whose character seems to be in limbo.
I find it very offensive about what she did to us fans and to the show. She kept making demands and then went on a string of talk-show hosts to berate them for making her and the cast work a 17 hour work day..that she caused. The producers did everything for her. They gave her time off when she wanted to make a movie, then they gave her maternity leave. For whatever reason she just bailed and wouldn't even finish out the season.
Now, Shonda Rhimes the creator says she wants to close the chapter with Alex and Izzie, but it will have to be done in a different way because Katherine won't return. I mean she should at least come back for a cameo or something. It's not fair about how she left the show. Too many doors were left open. Katherine knew she would leave soon, why couldn't she have just left at the end of season 5, when her character went into a coma. It makes no sense. She says "That chapter is over for me". So rude and ungrateful. The show won't be the same without her. But her film career isn't going anywhere. That Killers movie failed at the box office, while nobody really wants to see Life as we know it. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up back on tv within a few years...wishing that she could have stayed on the show. She'll regret it.
I think you mean bad movies, except of course, Under Siege 2. She was awesome as Seagal's embittered niece. Still, I always wondered what would happen when every doctor has slept with every other doctor. I guess that's why you've got to have a revolving door on that show.

OH NO WHOSE GONNA CRY EVERY EPISODE AND WHINE ABOUT SOMETHING STUPID NOW
As much as her character was bit annoying at times, I miss Izzy. I still watch Grey's, but I miss all the original characters. Dr. Burke, George, Addison and Izzy. I think once they brought in all these new characters it sort lost its appeal. Seasons 1-4 were definitely the best.
