Justin Timberlake raps the house with Jimmy Fallon

Just when you thought Justin Timberlake couldn't get any cooler.

The singer further sealed his street cred Wednesday night when he and Jimmy Fallon took to the stage of the latter's talk show to bust a few rhymes.

The pair paid homage to the history of rap from the Sugar Hill Gang through the Beastie Boys, and ended the rousing performance with bit of Jay-Z. The crowd lost it and the video is making the rounds on the Net.

But if you are sharing said video on your Facebook account, be aware that Timberlake will probably never see it.

While he may be starring in this week’s film “The Social Network,” the actor/singer/fashion designer said he wouldn’t know how to operate Facebook if he tried.

“I don't personally have a Facebook page, but I work with a group of people [to] do charity work through it, so it's nice to engage as many ways as possible because when something happens, like in Haiti, you can see what good you can do in the world,” Timberlake told Parade magazine. “Other than that, I don't care about my friends' feelings - they can just call me and tell me. I feel like a dinosaur because if I was on it, I wouldn't know how to operate it."

But Timberlake’s also willing to bet that he’s not the only one that applies to.

“As we've been promoting the film, I get the idea collectively that none of us are really that savvy using Facebook or any other social networking site. I'm ridiculously stupid when it comes to computers and social networking, but I think the [question] is still: Is it a good thing or is it a bad thing?” Timberlake queried. “The accessibility and the instant gratification of having all of your photos and profile and everything lined up, I think that's what makes something like Facebook or any other social networking site so great to people. But I think the intrigue is that we still wonder if it's going to create great things in the world, or if we're going to waste away with it."

So although he may not know much about them, Timberlake still sees the importance of keeping the conversation going about social media sites.

“[I]t has obviously been a huge deal for the music industry, so I think, even without this movie, we would be talking about social media,” he explained. “It’s kind of serendipitous that a film like [‘Social Network’] could be made and is coming out around the time that it is. It’s the thing we are all talking about.”
