John Stamos goes from 'Glee' boycott to show guest starThere was a time when it probably wasn't wise to call John Stamos a "Gleek." Though he'll guest star on the hit Fox series beginning this week, the actor wasn't a fan of the show after a character dissed him last season. In that episode, McKinley High guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays) remarked, "They say it takes certainty more than talent to make a star. I mean, look at John Stamos." Her swipe left Stamos stinging.
"I remember I called the head of the studio. I was so mad," the 47-year-old former "Full House" star told the Los Angeles Times. "And I boycotted the show… yeah, I was the only one in the world that boycotted 'Glee.' Me, the guy who's on the show now." And that's not all - in a 10-episode arc as dentist Carl Howell, he'll be Emma's love interest. Stamos, who "politely declined" "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy's offer to helm a series about a male prostitute 10 years ago, told the L.A. Times he's happy to join the ranks of A-list stars who have done a stint on the series. "There are so many celebrities and actors out there. People are begging to get into television; movie stars who used to cringe at the thought of doing TV are all about it now," said Stamos, who kicked off his career on "General Hospital" in 1982. "So to still be in the game, considering that … I guess I'm a survivor."

He has done a great job so far, the singing was good too in the Rocky horror send off. Give hime credit for bring a great performer and good stage presence, and good to look at too!

John Stamos is a whinning little girl. Grow up they dissed you on you a little old to be crying. Now you want to join a listers not going to happen. He may be joining the show but he will never be where he was 20 years ago.
So, basically his pride has a price. How shallow can you get?
I love Glee, but it sucks to see that he's going to be on 10 episodes instead of just 1. Emma is beyond annoying, so they should pair up nicely together.
Yeah, this guy knows where the money is at. Good for you John for not acting to Greek and standing by your boycott, that would have been a huge mistake.

Boycott the show because they dissed you? For someone who's been an actor for such a long time, he has rather thin skin!
I too had zero interest in "Glee"- I think it's ironic he's on the show after the swipe- and it's a brilliant career move! Now I might have to catch it because he's so gorgeous! I watched "full House"- nuff said!

@Holly-He most definitely is. And you know whichever girl is lucky enough to hook up with him and have his kids, is going to have some gorgeous babies. I've had a crush on John for years. I'm just glad to see he's doing so well for himself.

Hasn't this become Stamos' M.O. for the last few years. He can't have a hit show on his own so he rides the coattails of another show to give him good press. Remember E.R.?
