Happy '90210' Day!Don’t you just love when TV shows get their own celebratory day? For those of you who are too young to remember Tori Spelling playing a virgin, Jason Preistley’s hair and how horrifyingly amazing Shannen Doherty was as Brenda, this day - 9/02/10, get it? - isn't intended to celebrate The CW's current revival but the OG version, "Beverly Hills, 90210." The series, which aired from 1990-2000, has a Facebook page to honor its soaptastic achievements and has already been celebrated in some places overseas. TVSquad has cherry-picked a crucial scene in which Brenda lays down that infamous "If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck" line when she catches Kelly with Dylan, while PopEater has spotted a few stars who were on the show before they were famous, including David Arquette and Jessica Alba. Now someone just needs to figure out what day we can appropriately deem, "International Saved by the Bell" day.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show! From the silly dialogue, to the mediocre-to-awful acting, to the socially relevant issues, this show rocked and was so "in" in its time. I was always a Dylan/Brenda fan! Even though Brenda had her times of ridiculousness, I always thought there was more substance to her and dylan's relationship, and love, not lust, than he and Kelly's. All they had in common was the same kindergarden class and the bedroom. But props to 90210 for still being adored in 2010! 🙂
Faith–amen sister! Preach on! This show so totally rocked! It was soooooo influential on my tween and teen years!!! Love love love it! Dylan and Brenda were THE couple, and he and Brandon were so dreamy!!! It just was never the same after the gang graduated hs and Brenda left!
Totally agree! the show was different after Brenda left and eventually they were running out of plotlines – either repeating or doing plotlines not true to the characters... in my opinion... but saying all that, i still adore the show!

Yeah, I remember that episode! That was the one where Donna caught her Mom in that Hotel (I think it was the Belage) having an affair with another man.
They just don't quality TV like this any more lol! Best episode ever – the one where Color Me Badd was on...I know another guilty pleasure...so glad SoapNet shows reruns!
Total guilty pleasure. I watch the reruns up until they graduate. After that, there was too much of a revolving door with cast members. Tried to watch the new incarnation but gave up after a couple episodes. Definitely not the same. Brenda looked like she was ridden hard and put away wet.
YESSS!!! I love love love this show... still is and always will be my favorite show ever. I watch the re-runs on SOAPNet when I can and it's just the best. Super cheesy? Yes! Awesome? Absolutely! Hooray for 90210 Day!

Antonia's father was the one responsible for having Dylan's father killed. Dylan initially set out to meet Antonia to get close to her father so he could get revenge. However, he ended up falling in love with her, which he didn't expect. Her father, Anthony Marchette, tries to get her to call off the wedding, and when she doesn't, he invites Dylan to meet him downtown under the pretense of giving them something before they leave town and move to Hawaii. However, Antonia's cat gets lost during a rain storm and she wants Dylan to look for the cat and she goes to meet her father instead. She has a raincoat on with the hood on her head, so the hit men can't see it's her and not Dylan. They cut off the car and shoot her.
It is on in re-runs, everday, Monday thru Friday at 11:00 am and 12:00 pm, also at 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm EST on the the SOAP channel. I watch everyday. Yesterday was the show the show in season 6 where Dylan gets married to Antonia Marchette then her father's hit men kill her thinking she's Dylan. This is the last episode that Dylan is in until season 9. From that point on, he is credited as a "Special Guest Star" until the series ends in season 10. Also, it is the last episode that he and Brandon (Jason Priestly) are in together.
I remember that!! He goes away for a while i mean his character then he comes back but not in all episodes...her father killed her by mistake but wanted to kill dylan couse of his father right? Dylan's father was the one that sent him to prision? correct me if im wrong..but it has to be somewhere in thoose lines

I love that show never stop watch and I wish it comes back as rerun 🙁 ... Happy 90210 Day! I love Tori Spelling in BH 90210 she was about 17 yrs old or so BETTER THAN NOW VERY UGLY and too skinny eewww. I'm not interesting her at all too ugly.... what wrong with her oh lord.
