Behind the Scenes on 'Showbiz Tonight': Brad Pitt's future may not include acting

Happy Monday! Everyone on the "Showbiz Tonight" staff is just exhausted after Sunday night's Emmys. What a show!

We all think Jimmy Fallon was a hit as the host, and we loved the fact that so many first-timers took home an award. That’s the good news from the weekend, but there's also some bad news, and it involves Paris Hilton. Apparently she was arrested on suspicion of cocaine possession in Las Vegas on Friday night.

She was riding in her boyfriend’s car on the Vegas strip when a policeman noticed what he suspected to be marijuana smoke coming from the car she was in. Then the officer reportedly found what appeared to be a controlled substance on Hilton, and tests showed that it was cocaine. So can Paris go to jail? "Showbiz Tonight’s" legal team is working on the case!

But let's get back to the good news, shall we? Brad Pitt is in New Orleans for the 5th anniversary for Hurricane Katrina, and he revealed to CNN that his plans in the future may not include acting! You'll have to tune in to "Showbiz Tonight" today to find out what the actor said.

And while Pitt's ex Jennifer Aniston has been laying low, Aniston's ex John Mayer sure hasn't. He slammed the Huffington Post for speculating that he and Aniston are getting back together, and just wait until you hear what he had to say about all of it.

"American Idol" producers also aren't staying quiet on what they think about legendary artist Elton John. It turns out, they want him on the show and he's still their number one pick.
