Humor writers aim to teach public about sex

Vanity Fair scribe Michael Sacks isn’t convinced that the general public talks about sex openly enough.

Sacks teamed up with humor writers from the Onion, "The Daily Show" and "Late Night With Conan O’Brien" to form the Association for the Betterment of Sex, the organization behind the recently released "manual," “Sex: Our Bodies, Our Junk.”

In what might be one of the most entertaining, raunchy and surprisingly brutally honest takes on sexuality to come along since Dr. Ruth, the guys of the ABS claim that regardless of experience, we all still have a lot to learn.

“Man or woman, gay or straight, young or old, but not grotesquely old, this is the one and only intimacy resource you will ever need,” the writers boast in the introduction.

From sections titled, “Calmer Sutra: Safe and Sane Positions for Normal People,” to advice on finding “The precise location of the female G-spot (latitude and longitude),” "Sex" has quickly amassed laughs and celebrity support.

Late night host Conan O’Brien even chimed in, dubbing the book as, “Possibly the most irresponsible book written on the subject of sexuality since The Berenstain Bears Host a Key Party."
