Lady Gaga will get waxedThose other wax figures at Madame Tussauds definitely won't hold a candle to Lady Gaga. The superstar singer is set to become the most eye-catching attraction when she makes her debut alongside Marilyn Monroe, Angelina Jolie and Miley Cyrus at the wax museum later this year, sporting one of her signature outfits selected by fans. "We're open to hearing from fans about which looks they want," a spokesperson for New York's Madame Tussauds told MTV News, adding that Gaga followers can pick their favorites at NYCWax.com. Hmm, we'd pick maybe the bubble dress, Kermit frock, or Alejandro nun outfit - pretty much anything but that bloodied white number from the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Gaga figures will appear in many of the nine Madame Tussauds outlets worldwide, the spokesperson confirms, but whether they'll be outfitted in the same kooky styles remains to be seen.

I really like Lady Gaga, and I ain't no teenager, but a well-educated, middle age man. It is sad that so much rubbish is written about her. She is very obviously a woman, and she is very obviously talented, as anyone who has seen her piano concerts will tell you. Last time I checked, it was still legal to dress in crazy outfits. May her creativity never disappear! I will have absolutely NO problem with my baby daughter one day also liking her. Influence them on what though? i don't get what's so special about lady gaga for everyone to act like she's some revolutionary. I like her music and all but she's no different than all the other popular artists out right now. Everybody's music basically sounds the same (it has a hook, its catchy, its mindless, and the "lyrics" take on one single word and that word basically represents the meaning behind the entire song). She's not the only person who writes their own songs or plays the piano. She's also not the only one who is using the whole "shock glam" concept (look at what rhianna and katy perry are wearing...no different from gaga's, they wear something funky and "weird" to stand out too). She's just a pop star like all the other pop starlets, so what's the big deal?

If you notice, they didn't say she was becoming a wax figure because she her music is so great. She is becoming a wax figure because of her creative clothing. It is going to be great business for the museum because I'm sure people will want to see it. I think that it is a very smart idea and I hope they come up with something great.

Good for Gaga! I think that's nice she is having her moment in the sun.I havn't been in a wax museum before, but I hope it's like a baseball hall of fame idea. There are tons of artists who have worked hard in the industry for years, that deserves to be waxed. Although for Gaga I feel it maybe a little premature, one can't deny she's all the rage right now, and I get her marketability and that she sells. For the younger crowd they can identify with her now, as opposed to someone like Elton John, Eric Clampton, Jimmy Hendrix, etc. This is more in their time frame, weather they love her music or not.

I grew up in the 80s to Madonna and I actually like Lady Gaga's music better. Lady Gaga has real talent, an awesome voice, and is eccentric. I do not like Lady Gaga's clothing or hair but I realize she is an artist and this is part of the show and it gives her a lot of attention. All the people on here who are Lady Gaga haters are actually the ones who helped make her popular enough to have a wax figure. With fame always comes haters and those who are jealous.

Have you even been to Madam Toussauds in London? I have and it is certainly not a joke. The skill of making those sculptures is impressive. And the whole point of the Museum is capture people in history. They sculpt many other figures that aren't pop stars (political, scientists, historians). You may not like Lady Gaga, but she has been noteworthy, and hey you're on here talking about her.
