Kimora Lee Simmons parts ways with Baby PhatKimora Lee Simmons is heading into fall fashion season with one less clothing line: the former model is parting ways with the parent company for Baby Phat, Kellwood, as of September 1. Simmons, who has worked on the brand for more than a decade, told E! Online, “It's time for me to move on and further expand my other businesses and create a new phenomenon.” Much to the dismay of her Twitter followers, it looks as though Baby Phat also won’t have a fall fashion show, which Simmons noted wasn’t her decision. But as she states on her Twitter feed, the mom of three isn't going to let this sartorial split slow “Team Fabulosity” down.
Simmons still has three other labels - KLS collection, Kouture by Kimora and Fabulosity - in addition to other ventures, like fragrances. To top it off, she’s also shooting the fourth season of her Style Network reality show, “Life in the Fab Lane." "My inspiration has always come from the fabulous women who have been with me through the years as we've grown from young party girls to power players,” Simmons told E!. “We're ready for our next journey together and we're taking a whole new generation of incredible young women with us.”

Oops! Forgot to mention that her clothes and accessories are cheaply made and look like crap. Cheap materials. I urge everyone out there to stop purchasing her lines. She is exploiting the obvious population! (s)!! For the same prices she charges for her inferior styles and materials, you can shop the discount stores and find classy, well manufactured clothing.

Well, finally, her life will be reset. She is a horrible person. Almost all of us are suffering economically in all aspects of life, and she goes on, and on, and on about consumption and how fabulous her life is. What has she done lately to respond to what is going on in the word. Kimora, you mojo is slipping never to return. You are not fabulous as you perceive; kharma, kharma, kharma, you are a hollow, ugly human being. Your life has been reset!
Low lighting, heavy markup, and workers in Hondorus, Mexico, and Haiti, along with awful and seized up fabric, do not make a clothing line, i.e. BabyPhat.
Awful fabric and tacky designs are hard to accept.
She should just stop the drama (totally unnecessary) and tend to her children. Give the show a rest, and please woman, just SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP.

I never liked Baby Phat clothing anyway. That style was too Urban and Ghetto looking for me anyway.
I use to see a lot of younger Black girls wearing those clothes and they came from the Hood and Ghetto or from Urban Towns, walking around trying to look and act tough in Baby Phat clothes. Who wanted to always walk around in that clothing style with cat on it? I sure didn't. They should yank all those Bay Phat clothes out of the stores and burn them up. Kimora does not rule. She thinks she rules the pheasants that suck up to her because she writes and signes their stipend checks she feeds them.
I watch her show few times, and I would not last one hot minute listening to her ass bossing and ordering me around like a trained animal. She talks to her staff like they are her trained seals, telling them how high she wants them to jump and fetch her bs
I would have been punched her in her face and called it a day and never look back. The staff would of had to pull me off of her on the floor.
Let's see how much longer she is gonna stay with Mr. Hounsu before he gets tired of her whiny and controlling ways she got away with, with Russuel. When the newness wears off, Mr. Hounsu is gonna take the blinders off and take his son and split. He's not paying her any child support money, He can take care of his son by him self.
Baby Phat was doing horrible, cheap fabric with loud embellishments. That and House of Dereon. Beyonce should stick to singing, Kimora needs to reevaluate taste.
LOVE Kimora's work ethic! She gets the job done and has been an inspiration to me in my business. I love strong, working women like her and Beyonce (the hardest working woman in show business) ! Looking forward to the new season of her show.
I always liked her too but her perfume was awful smelling.I was surprised. One of her daughters is a clone of her ex Russel. She has a wonderful family & has a great business sense !
Kimora rules! I get a kick out of watching her each week. She's made her own way, her own money, and her own life. She's a strong woman who runs her companies her way. Of course, because she speaks her mind and makes clear what she wants, she's called a B****h. And I wish I looked like that after three kids! Lighten up, folks! Your unfabulosity is showing!!!

Yeah I agree, she's a pretty horrendous person. I tried to watch her show, but she's just so horrible to everyone around her I couldnt do it. And I wouldnt buy her products if the alternative was to go naked.
