Jennifer Aniston headed to 'Cougar Town'Jennifer Aniston could probably use a reunion with a good “Friend” right about now. Amidst plenty of questioning on whether or not the actress, 41, has lost her box office touch comes news that she'll join former on-screen (and real-life) buddy Courteney Cox in the “Cougar Town” premiere on Wednesday, September 22 at 9:30 p.m. This marks the second time the two have teamed up since “Friends” came to an end in 2004; Aniston previously joined Cox on the short-lived series “Dirt” in 2007.
“Cougar Town” stars Cox as the romance-seeking divorcee Jules Cobb, and according to EW, Aniston will get inside Cobb's head as a shrink named Bonnie. “Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist,” the show’s executive producer Bill Lawrence told EW. “Those guys are so close in real life they kind of do that for each other anyway. Bonnie has the life Jules wishes she has.” It looks like Cox and Aniston are planning to bring back some of their old comedic chemistry - Lawrence revealed that the pair was excited to do something centered around comedy again. "Every day that those two talk they have more ideas about [the role]," he said. "It’s definitely something they’re both involved in creatively.” So if you do tune in for “Cougar’s” second season premiere, you’ll realize that this show's sense of humor has evolved since its first season premiere. “I want as many people as I can get to see what the show kind of became last year,” Lawrence told EW. “It went from a typical TV show trying to find itself to something that I’m really proud of and like and think is really funny."

I still can't believe there are Movie Studios out there that invest millions in the making of a film staring Jennifer Aniston thinking they will have a hit on their hands. What Idiots! She had one film that did well. NOT SPECTACULAR, but well.
(Marley & Me). The rest were basically flops. Anyone could have predicted that "The Switch" would be a flop. She's worth in excess of $120 million. She's finacially set. She was good on friends, but she's not a movie star. She needs to disappear and concentrate on growing up.
This must be the only picture they have of these 2...not that they dont look delicious next to each other.

What 41 yr old woman says words like "retard" on national tv? Aniston is very insensitive and should address what she said. But her silence speaks volumes to me. I mean she came out and addressed the rumor that she was eating baby food. Why not say something about this? I think she's very child-like for 41. I think her films are awful and she'll do anything for money, even sell perfume and bottled water. It's hard to respect someone like her. I like actors who have REAL talent and do good movies not sell-outs with very little going on upstairs.
It's a word for goodness sakes! I don't know how old you are, but when I was a child, the term "retard" didn't carry the same stigma that it has today. Political correctness has ruined our sense of freedom in this country because we are so concerned about purging the language of any and all discriminatory elements that we have moved beyond the realm of purification and into the realm of censorship.
I understand that using a term that equates a mental handicap with acting goofy is not justified and appropriate, but but let's not get all bent out of shape about things like this. There are many more important things to worry about.

Spending some time in Cougar Town would be a huge improvement on Loser Town, which is precisely where Jen has been dating for the last several years. John Mayer? Vince Vaughn?? Not if they were the last men on the planet.

The best cougar of all is Demi Moore, but the likes of Aniston and Cox would be so small in comparasion to her...besides, they would just be jealous of the better acting skills of Ms. Moore and throw another hissy fit so that we could feel pity once again.

You'd think with the endless publicity she gets that she would have had some recent success to be considered an "A-list" actress...but apparently not. She's getting to the point where she is more famous for who she is than what she does...
My favorite JA movie is Office Space and her part is so small I almost forgot she was in it.
She might be a good actress but like someone else said, she's the same in every role ... basically Jennifer Aniston...on a movie screen...with a yellow lab, or breaking up with Vince Vaughn...(another guy who has the same problem)

Likely the best she can do is a tv show where stronger actors can give substance to the show.
