Angelina Jolie on why Brad Pitt is 'The One'As Andrew Morton’s new Angelina Jolie exposé is poised to hit No. 3 on the New York Times Best-Seller list, the actress is also doing a bit of a tell-all herself. In the latest issue of the U.K.’s Stylist magazine, the “Salt” star opens up about her romance with Brad Pitt and how she knew he was “The One.” Despite ongoing reports that she and Pitt, 46, began their love affair during the making of 2005’s “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” – while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston, 41 – Jolie once again insists that she’s no homewrecker. "We became friends on the film set,” she says, “but [the relationship] began after."

Ponies for presents on 'Real Housewives of D.C.'I gather from some of the comments I've read about "The Real Housewives of D.C." - both on this blog and on other sites - that many think this edition of the "Real Housewives" franchise is a bit on the boring side. To be honest, I'm starting to agree. It's not that I enjoy the hair pulling and the table flipping that's gone on among the other casts, but there doesn't seem to be much excitement with these D.C. "Housewives." We do know what's coming later, but for now we just get to watch them eat, drink and be nouveau riche. For example, in this episode it was Michaele’s birthday, and her husband surprised her with some designer stuff. But the biggest surprise for me, however, was how old (she said) she is. She claims to be 44, but acts much younger - especially when her husband does things like give her a pony. (Yes, you read that correctly: a pony.)

Dina Lohan: Lindsay's doing wonderfullyThere was a very special segment on the “Today” show this morning, as Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina, decided to sit down with Matt Lauer to discuss – what else - her 24-year-old daughter Lindsay, who’s gone from a brief jail sentence to court-ordered rehab. Mama Lohan didn’t necessarily “reveal” much of anything, other than a tendency to be severely redundant. Things that will be seared into your memory, should you choose to watch the interview: Her son Michael is 22 and graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca; Lindsay isn’t her only child, she has four of them; she has a “criminal stay away” against her ex-husband Michael; and the judge on Lindsay’s case has been removed. (Oh, by the way: Mama Lohan thinks the judge played hardball with her daughter.)

JLo's tweet fashion choiceWhether or not reports that “American Idol” execs passed on Jennifer Lopez as an "Idol" judge because she was too demanding are the real reason she won't be on the Fox show, we do know one thing: Lopez likes her jewels. After more than one report about Fox looking elsewhere for an “Idol” judge questioned if it was because of a “diva” attitude, Lopez tweeted a photo of a filled-to-the-brim jewelry box, makeup bags and what looks like a hat with a feather. The caption read, “Hmm…what should I wear today?" Because, you know, these are the questions that a high-maintenance diva has to thoughtfully consider. Although she didn’t specifically reference any of the “Idol” rumors, we like to think that photo spoke a thousand words as to what her thoughts are on the speculation.

Baby No. 5 on the way for Kelsey GrammerKelsey Grammer must be competing with Brad and Angelina - the actor is about to become a father for the fifth time. A rep for Grammer confirmed a report out of London that the "Frasier" star, 55, is expecting a child with new girlfriend Kayte Walsh, 29. Walsh's father initially spilled the beans, telling U.K. paper The Daily Mail that his daughter, a flight attendant for Virgin Atlantic Airways, was pregnant by Grammer. "It's great news and we are very pleased for them both," he told the newspaper.

The winner of 'SYTYCD' is...Thursday night's season finale of "So You Think You Can Dance" was one of the best finales we've seen in a while. From spectacular performances by the dance crew Quest, seven-year-old tap dancer Luke Spring and the Manzari brothers to a terrific group routine from this season's dancers (including Alex), there wasn't a wrong step all night. (Okay, Kent and Anya had a bit of a flub during their cha-cha, but we'll forgive that.) Quite a few of the encore performances were better the second time around, including Robert and Allison's contemporary routine, Comfort and AdeChike's hip-hop routine (complete with an all-too-real slap to the face) and Robert and Billy's Bollywood routine. |
