Angelina Jolie on why Brad Pitt is 'The One'As Andrew Morton’s new Angelina Jolie exposé is poised to hit No. 3 on the New York Times Best-Seller list, the actress is also doing a bit of a tell-all herself. In the latest issue of the U.K.’s Stylist magazine, the “Salt” star opens up about her romance with Brad Pitt and how she knew he was “The One.” Despite ongoing reports that she and Pitt, 46, began their love affair during the making of 2005’s “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” – while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston, 41 – Jolie once again insists that she’s no homewrecker. "We became friends on the film set,” she says, “but [the relationship] began after."
And following a string of flings and failed marriages to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, it just felt natural to settle down with partner Pitt. "At a certain age, having gone through enough experiences, I think you know,” Jolie, 35, explains of realizing that her "Mr. Smith" was Mr. Right. “It wasn't courageous, it was more comforting to have found my family." All seven members (and counting). The mother of Maddox, 9, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 2, admits that having such a big brood leaves the couple with very little intimate time, but they get by with a little help from their friends. Says Jolie, "Once every week or two weeks we'll ask somebody to spend the night, so we can go and be alone together. We just go to another part of the house and lock the door."

I love Angelina and Brad together. This is a match in heaven. Jen is a hipocrit, I do not like her or any of her movies at all. She is a fake, and only cares about her body. If she is so wonderful, how come she can not keep a man. She has been through so many men, it is not funny anymore. How the hell are they going to critiziced Angelina.
Jen got revenge on the two of them the day their downs syndrome twins were born. They can't even produce a normal child... the first one thinks she's a boy and the other two... well one only has to look. They're adopted chimps aren't much better to look at either! Have a nice life losers!!!

Yah, what is up with angie's weight? I use to not want to eat when my nerves were shot. My nerves use to be shot because the father of my children was treating me like crap. I bet there is serious trouble brewing in their relationship. Has to be expected since everyone knows what go around comes around. They never had any right getting together because he was a married man to Jennifer. God does not take cheating lightly. Their troubles will expose themselves sooner or later. It is just a matter of time. I just feel sorry that now there are children that will have to reap what they have sown. They should be ashamed.
Angie IS anorexic thin!! You can see her BONES!! Her clothes are ALWAYS so baggy on her. she looks very frail as if she is like a porcelain doll! You can not truthfully look at her and say there is NOT a difference in her body now compared to back when she did Lara Croft, Gone in 60, etc... because there IS A HUGE difference in her appearance! It is obvious to EVERYONE (unless you are blind or to ignorant to ADMIT THE TRUTH b/c u adore her so much). MY OPINION OF HER BONY BODY DOES NOT MEAN I AM OVERWEIGHT! Angie talks about taking turns with Brad to cook breakfast but yet Brad has said in MANY RECENT INTERVIEWS (WHILE PROMOTING NEW FILMS) THAT Angie can not and does not cook. Then Angie will also contradict herself by saying everyone gets up at different times and eats different things for breakfast. Angie claims to pack the kids lunches and says that she tells them she is NOT A WAITRESS (when in REALITY EVERY MOTHER IS A WAITRESS TO THEIR CHILDREN)! because they all want different things. NEWS FLASH TO HER ALL KIDS HAVE DIFFERENT PREFERENCES FOR FOOD! THEY DO NOT ALWAYS LIKE OR WANT THE SAME THINGS! Not to mention she has NOT slowed down on working when she is CONSTANTLY either filming or traveling all over the world to promote the recent film. PROMOTING AND GOING TO PREMIERS IS STILL WORKING! She DOES AND IT IS A FACT (YOU CAN READ THE PAST INTERVIEWS) say she is going to slow down and she DOES ALSO SAY SHE WILL RETIRE yet she NEVER does either of those things! All of these things I listed in this comment are WHY I no longer like Angie! She can NEVER keep her story straight, she has done SOOO many recent interviews to promote her many films that she says a completely different thing in each and every interview! Angie NEEDS to devote more time to HER CHILDREN and NOT TO FILMS! They have MORE THAN ENOUGH money to live on for a couple years so that she can devote her time to her 6 children and her partner!
Honestly, half the reason Aniston Brad and Jolie are so famous and on magazines and making mega bucks is because of the scandelous behavior of Jolie and Brad. None of them are so great, there are much better.

I've been in the PR biz for decades in CA and she's had a history of taking what she likes in the romance department, just ask Aurore - Timothy Hutton's wife. Or Laura Dern. Or, yes, Jennifer Anniston. All the charity work is great, but there's clearly a pr aspect to save her reputation. This is the woman who's made red carpet scenes by tongueing Thornton in front of her father, Jon Voight, and then gazing at him as he told a reporter that "we f***** in the car on the way over." They have a bunch of kids and donate time and money to charities - that's great, but don't insult us by saying that she's not a maneater.

A "homewrecker" is a husband or a wife. If there is "love" between married couple, then nothing else should get between them. You have to forgive and forget, unless there's no "love." If you're in love with your spouse, you don't let anybody to get in between. If you're not in love and happy, you send for help.

I heard that in the new movie she is making, during filming, she was susposed to lay her head on the shoulder of her co-star but instead, she grabed him in a pasionate kiss and held on. When he was able to get loose, he told her "don't ever do that again, just follow the script", to which she replied, "I was just making the scene more interesting"

Um... hate to break it to some of you but there are people that date others who are still married but legally separated. It doesn't mean that they were cheating. Shinook is right. If you don't want to hear about Angelina Jolie, don't read any articles on her. If you want her to "Shut up," then why would you bother wasting your time reading about her. I like reading about her along with many millions of other people. It still amazes me that 6 years has passed and people are still calling Angelina a "homewrecker." People, if Brad and Jen had such a strong, powerful relationship NOTHING would have gotten in the way of it, not even Angelina. And honestly, I think Brad and Jen looked more like a trophy couple than anything, hence the reason why everyone was so hung up over how good looking they were together. Just because two people look good together doesn't mean they are meant to be together. With Angelina and Brad, you can tell that they have the passion and true chemistry, where as Jen and Brad always looked like they were more like friends than an actual partnership. People need to really move on, it has been SIX years, give it up already!
Just because it happened 6 years ago doesn't mean that it's not a mark on their character. If they are better off together, then fine.....but they could have WAITED until divorce was finalized. Don't tell me that people "fall madly in love" and just have to be together even if it means being vile and cheating when one of them is marred. A real adult...with morals and values...would say "I know something is there between us, but you're married, you need to take care of your life on that end before I am able to do anything with you." It isn't right to get involved with someone already in a relationship, but if that person wants to do it, then it's really the person who is in a relationship already who should be crucified. Why does Billy Bob Thornton get away with dumping Laura Dern by marrying Angelina Jolie and Angelina gets hated on for it? Because she is beautiful so you hate her? And Brad and Angelina have both said they did not get involved until after he separated from Jennifer Aniston. The separation was official already and he'd moved out. Why should they wait for the divorce to get finalized? That's just a technicality. What they did was fine. Focus on your own relationships and what you've done wrong in your life instead of crucifying a beautiful couple for being happy together. Bet you'd love it if they split up and were miserable. Jeez.

If the marriage was strong, nobody could come in between them. That marriage was dead by the time Angelina met Brad. Jen just tries to lay this innocent, "woe-is-me" girl who has been betrayed. Deep down inside, she knows that theirs was a loveless marriage and was soon bound to fall apart – by playing the victim role, she keeps the tabloids focused on her, and ends up getting more publicity than she really should. She has not been able to make a box-office hit yet; but has managed to keep all the publicity on herself for reasons other than talent.

I love Brad and Angie as a couple. To me the some how seem to fit together very well. I think people still mad need to move on. They have been together almost 6 years. They have 6 cute children and seem really happy together.

I am happy to see that Angelina and Brad are still together and stronger than ever. I know a lot of people say Angelina is a homewrecker but honestly a relationship cannot be broken unless there were already cracks there to begin with. If Jen and Brad had such a strong and secure relationship, not even Angelina Jolie could've come between them. To me, Jen and Brad have always seemed more like friends than lovers. In every interview or picture they were in it alway sweet with eachother but they never showed that type of chemistry that lovers have. Brad and Angelina on the other hand have plenty of chemistry so I can see why they were so drawn to eachother. All in all, good luck to Brangelina and Jen.

I just love seeing Brad and Angelina together. Those two are perfect together. As for the homewrecker bit, I don't buy it at all. If Angelina was a homewrecker, she'd be the first to admit it, she's that bold. No, I watched the Anniston/Pitt marriage and I still say Jen was a big part of why Brad left. I remember when they had interviewed her about her plans for having a family and she said that she and Brad were getting ready to clear their schedules so that they could work on trying to have a kid. I also remember when they interviewed Brad not long thereafter and he said he was turning down roles so that he and Jen could focus on trying for a family. Wouldn't you know it, Jen snuck around and signed up 4 movie deals in a row, and filming started at the time that Brad had cleared his schedule for her, so suddenly she couldn't work on it. Poor Jen ? I don't think so. She was quick to slam Brad not long after the marriage fell apart, and people made her out to be this innocent person standing in the rubble of a broken marriage, and made Angelina out to be an evil homewrecker. No, Jen pushed Brad away by lying to him and to the public. I have no sympathy for her, and will continue to stand behind Brad and Angelina all the way.

I COMPLETELY agree with you! Brad really wanted to have children and Jen led him to believe she did too and then accepted another season with Friends. I heard on an interview with Brad that that hit him hard and I think that was the defining moment of when their relationship started going down hill.
I think it was a fine line of when Brad and Angie fell in love but obviously after 5 years, there is something between them – stronger than what Brad and Jen had.
If Jen is SO wonderful and REALLY wants kids as she says-why isn't she in a relationship and having children or adopting? I think because she really doesn't want to.

I am not condoning spouses that cheat but no one knows what really went on in Brad's relationship with Jennifer. There is his side of the story, her side of the story and somewhere in between is the truth. Just because Jennifer always plays this great character in movies, doesn't mean she isn't difficult to live with. She might be fantastic but I'm just saying no one knows the truth. At 25 years old, I would have jumped on the "Team Jen" bandwagon but at 43 I realize that life is far to short to stay in a misrable and/or loveless marriage. There is no happy way to end a relationship but living a lie isn't helping anyone.

Look, the timing was confusing to everyone, but I finally read an article recently that explained the timing. Brad + Angie filmed Mr & Mrs Smith, then Brad broke up with Jen (or she broke up with him) = it was mutual & she was the one that filed for divorce, then Brad + Angie teamed up again to shoot reshoots for several weeks on Mr & Mrs Smith = SINGLE, separated Brad + Angie falling in love and later the infamous sandcastles on the beach of Africa shot. Brad probably fell for Angelina right away and wanted out of his marriage, but I believe they waited until he + Jen decided to separate. I'm sure Angelina wasn't the only reason he left Jennifer Aniston. He must not have been that happy in his marriage. Brad was technically married still when I said he was "single," but he and Jen had already officially separated and said they would remain friends = no longer romantically involved = single with divorce on the horizon to make it official. Get it now?

Leeann whoe dog broke a family up and she laughs about it and tells his wife to get over it really leave Angie and Brad and there FAMILY alone something Jennifer was not willing to do she made a choice and it was not having a family Brad left Jennifer it was his CHOICE
I admire Angelina, especially her strength and intelligence....her family is amazing, and Brad is fortunate...keep publishing positive stories about them, and please ignore all that negative mean gossip.

I agree with you Rita and I have a great amount of respect for Angelina, Brad and Jen. I wish them all the best in their lives. It's easy to blame somebody else when something goes wrong. None of them are perfect, but they are doing their best to move forward. I think Angelina is beautiful, inside and out. I think Jen is a very talented actress who will find true love when she least expects it. Brad is playful and generous...he needed someone who would let him be who he is. It was none of their faults. Angelina and Brad have beautiful babies and one day so will Jen...whether it's biological or adopted. I wish people would just leave them alone!!! ; p
