It's official: Kanye to perform at VMAsUpdated Thursday at 1:15 p.m.: MTV has confirmed that Kanye West will indeed perform at the 2010 Video Music Awards. Drake and Florence + The Machine will also take the stage at the 27th annual awards show on September 12. Kanye West might not have to steal Taylor Swift’s thunder to get noticed at the Video Music Awards this year. UsMagazine.com reported Tuesday that the rapper is set to perform at the 2010 MTV VMAs, but the network has yet to comment on the matter. Either way, we’re hoping West does perform - if only so Swift can hop on stage and tell him that she'll let him finish but....well, you know the rest. West’s “Power” video, or moving painting, recently premiered on MTV after an episode of “Jersey Shore," and his album is expected to drop in the fall.

Kanye shouldn't of done that. It was very rude of him. He is a bad influence. I mean would you leap up in a middle of a very important lecture by the president and say " I'll let you finish Mr.President but I think that health insurance is more important than helping out third world countries!" Then shrug and get off the podium? Probably not. So Kanye, think about others before you criticize them and make them feel like cow dung.
Good Music is a matter of opinion. You guys can sit her and say Kanye sucks or Taylor sucks and you would all be right because they do suck to people with different taste. The point is that this guy got up on stage and interrupted another artist who had won and award. Weather or not she deserved it, again, is a matter of opinion and it was not the right place or time for Kanye to voice his. If some artist had done that same thing to him, would he have handled the situation with as much grace as Taylor? I think not.
Kanye bulldozed his way into the industry, practically made the record company give him a deal almost crying to be recognized and who is he to determine who should get an award? when he stepped to Taylor Swift – what an idiot! so let's see if he behaves this time.

Taylor and Kanye are both very talented in what they do, 1 thing differs from the other: Kanye doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut. He is out casted because he acts like a fool and does things that people wouldn't normally do. He's an attention seeker. Have you ever heard the words to any of Eminems songs? He consistently talks about people in his lyrics, but his beats are so tight that we overlook the people bashing. That being said, Kanye likes public attention. He wants to be in the headlines for days/months. To each their own. I'm not a country fan, but I do think Taylor can write good music. Her fans seem to like her and she sells out shows across the world. Kanye is very talented, but his actions get him in trouble and make him the bad guy!

You guys know what would be ideal? Kanya performs at the VMAs but everyone leaves the hall for refreshments or something just as what the judges on American Idol did when he performed on the show.
