Ellen takes the 'SYTYCD' stage

She may no longer be an "American Idol" judge, but Ellen DeGeneres still has a passion for reality competitions, especially "So You Think You Can Dance."

On tonight's finale, as EW.com reports, she'll take on one of the most popular dances of the season, in place of Alex Wong, who was injured and taken out of the competition.

Nigel Lythgoe is not exactly thrilled that the cat's out of the bag about the show's guest, but he did say via Twitter that DeGeneres was "incredible," adding, "Alex Wong's face was one of complete shock."

DeGeneres, who often dances on her talk show, will perform the show-stopping hip-hop routine with tWitch, and it's sure to be another memorable performance. According to EW.com, she's been rehearsing it for the past month.

Regardless of whether Kent, Lauren or Robert walk away with the title of America's favorite dancer, this will be one moment that everyone will be watching for tonight.
