Behind the Scenes on 'Showbiz Tonight': Battle at the box office

The "Showbiz Tonight" staff was still buzzing this morning about the fed-up flight attendant. New rumors are swirling about what really went down before Steven Slater went bonkers. We were also blown away by how many of our loyal "Showbiz Tonight" viewers (We love ya!) think Slater should become a reality TV star!

Today we’re asking in our "Showbiz" poll which show Slater should be cast on, "Survivor," "Celebrity Apprentice" or "Jersey Shore"? He’s got a solid 7 minutes left of his 15 minutes of fame so we’re thinking he should milk them for all the dollars they're worth.

By the way, what are your weekend plans? Are you heading to the movies? Even if you're not, we're sure you know there’s going be an all-out box office war between the nerds and the stars. Will Julia Roberts’ star power in “Eat, Pray Love” be enough to defeat Michael Cera’s lovable nerd-romantic-comedy, “Scott Pilgrim Versus the World”?

The battle lines were drawn in the morning meeting, but we want to hear which movie you’re going to see, so be sure to post your thoughts on our Facebook wall.

And no "Showbiz Tonight" morning meeting is complete without Snooki!

Her BFF, Arizona Senator John McCain, is defending her comments about being too pretty for jail. This has just gone way too far - the madness must stop! Join us for the hot debate on this and so much more today on “Showbiz Tonight."

Watch "Showbiz Tonight" live at 5 p.m. today. And remember, we’re still TV’s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11 p.m. ET/PT!

Scott Pilgrim, definitely. I dont care if a lot of people are annoyed by Michael Cera, hes not being his normal awkward self. Just watch the trailer or a clip for the movie. Its definitely something new we're seeing from him.
