Justin Bieber hit with water bottle during performanceJustin Bieber has clearly made Beliebers out of many, many people, but perhaps it wasn't always that way. When Bieber was performing at a concert in Sacramento in December, 2009, an errant water bottle came sailing through the air, hitting the 16-year-old star in the head, as shown in a video that was recently posted online. (Whoever threw that has a serious arm.) It’s unclear why the concert attendee felt the need to pelt the kid with a plastic container of water – did he look thirsty? – especially since Bieber, at the time, was expressing how his love for the fans gathered.
But, to his credit, Biebs shook off the assault with a simple, “Ow, that didn’t feel good,” adding, “I don’t know why she just threw that at me, but I love you guys.” But even better than the laugh you'll get from the randomness that is the clip is the fact that someone had the foresight to put it on a loop. |

Good ol' Sacramento. I went to a Bush concert here right when they were plummeting out of the lime light (about 10 years ago). They SUCKED and the lead singer got nailed with a water bottle and went wimpering off the stage. Some guy comes out yelling "That's bloody Gavin Rosedale you just hit with a water bottle, he doesn't need to take this. He won't come back on stage!". Nobody cared and everyone started leaving. It was awesome. The lesson to singers is this; don't come to Sacramento and suck. We like music and don't want to waste our money. If you suck you get pummeled, that's how we roll.
