Ed Norton and Mark Ruffalo still 'cool'

It looks like Ed Norton subscribes to the philosophy, “bros before roles.”

The “Fight Club” star reportedly has no hard feelings towards friend Mark Ruffalo, who snagged the role of the Hulk in the upcoming "Avengers" movie.

Norton played "The Incredible Hulk" back in 2008, but Marvel said in July that they were looking for "an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members"  to play the gigantic green monster in "Avengers."

But it doesn't look like that decision has left Norton with a grudge...at least, according to Ruffalo. “We feel like it’s our generation’s ‘Hamlet,’” he explained to the New York Post's Page Six. “We’re all going to get a crack at it.”

With that kind of attitude, it makes sense that their friendship would remain unaffected. “We’re copacetic,” Ruffalo assured the Post. “We’re cool.”

Phew! Now we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Can you imagine how awkward that questioning would have been if they weren't?

They need to fix Edward Norton cast in the avengers 2012 , get rid of mark ruffalo because he the problem not norton. Marvel fault that he didn t call norton to reprise the Bruce Banner role. And fire fegie from marvel studios.

Another thing is Edward Norton is in the credits for the avengers 2012, and norton sign the contract already so they can t fire norton from the cast because he sign on before mark ruffalo so that should mean norton is still in the credits just as well as mark ruffalo.

I know that Edward Norton looking to reprise the role as Bruce Banner in the avengers 2012. And I don t think marvel studios didn t do there job on the cast right. Edward Norton already sign for Bruce Banner in the avengers 2012 cast that means sinces he was dumped from marvel studio name Kevin fegie, I know that fegie cast another actor for norton role as Bruce Banner and he shoulding taking his role at all because fegie is wrong for replacing norton, I know norton agent brain response against fegie for misleading him of the cast so that means he still in the avengers.

The comparison to Hamlet is hysterically funny, though I doubt intentionally so. Norton went to Yale and would know better, but Ruffalo would not. I'd bet money Norton winced at the comparison.

the comment went over your head. He meant that it's like Hamlet, because so many actors are getting to take a stab at the character...it was a joke.

I love that the actors they get to play the Hulk keep shrinking...

    Eric Bana – 6'2.5"
    Edward Norton – 6'
    Mark Ruffalo – 5' 9"

At this rate, Dakota Fanning can play Bruce Banner next time around

Who cares?! Either way this movie will suck like the others before it. Not anyone of these actors will capture what Bill Bixby had or the real Hulk.

NYLA Princess, you realize that the Marvel movies have made BILLIONS of dollars so far, don't you? That's so dumb to say that all of the movies sucked. Some of them, yes... But let me ask you, what movies do you like? I guarantee they don't make as much as some of the Marvel movies have.

I hope that last line was facetious because do you really think the world will lose sleep thinking that these two multi-millionaires are feuding over who gets to play some ridiculous not-so-jolly green giant?
