Justin Bieber to chronicle life in memoir, 3D film

Justin Bieber, 16, has decided it's time he tell his side of the story – as a memoir.

HarperCollins has announced that “Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story” will be published in October and will reveal The Bieb’s journey to success.

Yet it’s not entirely clear how much writing Bieber will do, since this text is being pegged as an “illustrated memoir," including plenty of photos for the fans.

And since we all know that people these days don’t read like they used to, it looks like there’s even a Bieber movie in the works, and in 3D, no less.

DeadlineHollywood.com reported Monday that Paramount has plans to turn Bieber’s rise to the top into a feature film that would open in theaters right before Valentine’s Day in 2011, with "An Inconvenient Truth's" David Guggenheim in talks to direct. Bieber, of course, will play himself. (Can you imagine trying to get the hair on the actor right if he didn't?)

The teen pop star said on his Twitter page, “Next Valentine's we r coming with a major 3D Movie telling the story with an Oscar winning director,” followed by, “This is so sick!! Gonna come out in theatre's Worldwide Valentine's 2011!!! I'm taking this thing worldwide thanks to u all!!”

    "Justin Bieber...chronicle... memoir...in 3D..."
BWWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! In 3D??? That's ridiculous!!! It's not even interesting in 2D. Who makes this stuff up?? Justin needs to wait AT LEAST until he's 40 years old to dredge up whatever tragic child star and young adulthood stories he may have to tell by then – not that it will be much different than any other Celeb's "turbulent tales of the ups and downs of Stardom." Yawn.

I totally agree with most of the comments here, but Its called marketing and he has one of the best in his corner, Usher. This kid is not making a movie about his life for you and me. He's making it for all the little girls and boys who like him and want to be like him. Parents, you're kidding yourself if you don't think you will be paying for it.

BTW if I see him walking around my town (same as his father) I will be getting a razor and shaving his head lol.

I made my 5 year old son cut his hair because it looked to "Beiber"ish... this kid creeps me out. That baby video looks like he should be singing to a 10 yo girl. What a tool. Bet he comes out of the closet in a few years.

This kid looks like a ferret. a movie based on him?! there is a true story about Haitian ballerina losing a leg in the quake, trying to get back on top, and this kid gets his own movie.

So it really isn't a "memoir", it's more like the a-typical day in the life of a teenage hearthrob (as previousely done by so many other hearthrobs since the beginning of pop culture). The memoir will be in 20 years when we are watching Biography Channel and see if he did more with his life then make and loose a fortune!
