From 'Futurama' to the Joker"It's pretty overwhelming. I didn't know what to expect," said voice actor John DiMaggio, about playing the Joker in the upcoming animated DVD film, "Batman: Under the Red Hood." DiMaggio, perhaps best known for playing Bender on Comedy Central's "Futurama," may not be the first choice that comes to mind to play the "Clown Prince of Crime." "I feel that we really got somewhere with it," he told CNN at San Diego Comic-Con Friday. "I'm really proud that I got to that really deep, dark place that most people don't expect me to have." DiMaggio has many animation credits in his resume, but nothing like the deranged psychopath who commits an abhorrent act of violence early on in the movie. "I've played bad guys before but they were much lighter," he said. As for Bender, the most mischievous robot of the 31st century, DiMaggio compared coming back to the role after several years to riding an old bike. "There's a lot of crazy stuff on 'Futurama' this season," he said. "There's a lot of butts. A lot of naked butts, which will be fun." |

What about Mark Hamill?
This guys looks pretty promising for the Joker I suppose. We will have to see. Mark Hamil just quit from the Joker actually. After the making of the new video game Arkham Asylum 2 (2011), he said he's done. Look at this website for more info, or you can research it. The news is all over Comic Con.

amen brad.
Futurama is one of my favorite shows. Giving these guys another run was one of the best things Comedy Central ever did. Boo on FOX for cancelling them to make space for more stupid reality shows.
