Fringe star sees double for new seasonThere have been some great doubles in TV history over the years; Patty Duke and Spock come to mind. So what's it like for Anna Torv, star of "Fringe," to add to that tradition? "It's been really fun," Torv told CNN on Friday at San Diego Comic-Con. The parallel world version of her character, Olivia Dunham, introduced at the end of last season, is impersonating the "real world" Olivia. "I want to play her a little bit more," Torv said, "but now that she's back I don't know how much of her we're gonna see."
Olivia's fight with her double in the finale made for one of the most memorable scenes in the show's history - and as one might imagine, it was complicated to shoot. "The scene was really tough because we did a split screen so you had to make sure you don't go past this invisible line," she said. As for Peter and Olivia finally "going there" in their relationship at the end of last year, Torv thinks that Olivia would want to pursue a romance - that is, if she ever escapes the parallel world. "I think when Olivia said to Peter, 'you belong with me,' I think she really means it." And the show seems far from done with all of the intrigue that having two of everything brings: "It looks like we're going to find out more about that other side." |

Finge is definitly one of my favorite shows! Since.. Well.. The Xfiles! Sadly...
It has its flaws and holes, here and there.. But ultimatly, it has yet to dissapoint, and it keeps me on the edge of my seat! I can't wait for its next season to return!
Walter being my favorite.. btw.. xD
FRINGE! LOVE this TV show! So cool. Getting to see TWO Olivia's/Torv's is a Win/Win!
Double your pleasure, double your fun! Lenard Nimoy's final appearance before retirement in Fringe was EPIC!
I agree with the lost statement everett, but I don't think Fringe would pull a move like that. Lost ran out of crap to make up so they had to have that lackluster ending
Get some more serious writers for this sci-fi thriller...develop a real ending scenario and stay away from the no-ending nonsense of "Lost".
