Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr tie the knotFirst comes a degree and then comes marriage…if you’re Orlando Bloom. The British actor tied the knot with his fiancée, supermodel Miranda Kerr, on Wednesday night, CNN has learned. The media has speculated this congratulatory news was on its way since at least 2008, when a report surfaced that the two were engaged, although Bloom, 33, and Kerr, 27, denied it. They shirked rumors of an engagement again when the Victoria's Secret model was spotted wearing a ring in May, and finally confirmed their engagement in late June. Bloom, who has been dating Kerr for nearly three years, told reporters last November when queried about the pesky engagement rumors that the two were "enjoying our time together now."

Suiting up with the 'TRON: Legacy'When making a sequel more than 20 years after the original, it’s understood that some things are going to change - but it’s always appreciated when a few details remain the same. With Disney’s “TRON: Legacy,” one of those details is keeping a cast member from the original 1982 film: Jeff Bridges. The Oscar-winner told the “TRON” panel audience at Comic-Con Thursday that he gave much of the credit for the sequel's existence to the first Comic-Con presentation for the movie two years ago. "That (energy from the fans) was very responsible for getting the film rolling,” he said.

Angelina Jolie does her own stunts in 'Salt'Weeks of rumor and speculation proved true at San Diego’s Comic-Con as Angelina Jolie joined her "Salt" cast mates for the Hall H panel Thursday. Greeted by thousands of enthusiastic fans, a leather-clad Jolie said she was attracted to the character of Evelyn Salt because “something’s a bit off about her…and maybe something’s a bit off about me.” But aside from that, she also appreciates how the movie doesn't present purely black-and-white scenarios, and, in the end, is ultimately about “what you decide you won’t be pushed to be.”

Jake Pavelka isn’t gay, says ‘Bachelorette’ AliWe know some Marquee commenters are pretty convinced that former “Bachelor” Jake Pavelka is interested in other bachelors, but “Bachelorette” Ali Fedowtowsky says that isn’t true. “Just because he wears really nice turtleneck sweaters doesn’t mean he’s gay,” Fedotowsky, 25, told George Lopez on “Lopez Tonight.” Apparently Pavelka has been plagued with Internet rumors guessing at his sexuality since his split from Vienna Girardi, who reportedly told a tabloid that he wouldn't have sex with her. But Fedotowsky should have some idea of the truth – she was once competing for an engagement with Pavelka, although she did choose to leave the show to head back to work.

Diana Ross' son set to appear on '90210'“Beverly Hills 90210” is going to get a new resident - at least for now. Fancast is reporting that Evan Ross, son of superstar Diana Ross, will appear in multiple episodes as Charlie, “a well-read chap who will quickly get wrapped up in a triangle with two current members of the West Bev crowd.” Ross is an aspiring actor, having made appearances on his sister Tracee Ellis Ross’ sitcom “Girlfriends” and in the feature film “ATL.” |
