Power outage delays 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

Monday night's edition of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was one that fans of Seth Rogen and "The Green Hornet" were looking forward to watching: The long-awaited trailer for Rogen's turn as a costumed hero was set to premiere.

Then, a funny thing happened - tonight's scheduled rerun with Bradley Cooper as a guest aired instead. Moments later, Kimmel tweeted, "We had a power outage at the studio tonight. No one was killed. Shot the whole show on my MacBook. It will air tomorrow night instead."

Kimmel is known for pulling a hoax or two, but it would seem strange for a hoax to delay a much-hyped show for 24 hours.

Bloggers who were there to cover the release of the trailer confirm that the power went out as well.

It should be interesting to see how an entire talk show shot on webcam turns out. Will you tune in tonight?

Call me crazy – but isn't it "convenient" that every story about this plugs the MacBook like crazy? Could this have been a clever product placement deal? Besides, Craig Ferguson did a show by flashlight during a power outage months ago – and it was HYSTERICAL!
