'Toy Story 3': Review from a 4-year-oldCNN.com’s Stephen Walsh interviewed his kids – Macie, 7, and Ian, 4, after they saw “Toy Story 3” on Friday. Their review, albeit brief, was as much as he could get out of them because they wanted to go back inside and get a snack. CNN.com: What is “Toy Story 3” about? Macie: Andy goes to college and he puts some of his toys in the attic, except they get thrown in the dump so they escape. Then they go to Sunnyside Preschool and there’s kids there. There’s this bear. He’s the bad guy and he ties Buzz Lightyear up. He’s, like, evil. Then Woody, he goes to this girl’s house and he gets played with a lot and then they go into the trash because the bear is there and they’re trying to escape back to Andy’s house.
CNN.com: Tell me about the new characters. Macie: The bear … I forget his name. Ian: Ken is the man. Ken is the man. [But] both of the robots were mean. They tied up Buzz in the timeout chair. I didn’t really like that because that was mean. And then, they changed the switch and that made Buzz speak Spanish. CNN.com: What else happened? Ian: In the middle of the movie, when someone was trying to escape, the monkey started screaming. The Slinky guy, he got some tape and he tied the monkey all up so he couldn’t scream anymore. CNN.com: Do you think your toys come to life like Andy’s toys? Macie: Yes. Ian: No. (Hesitates.) Yes. I was joking about saying no. The toys play with other toys and read books. Probably. They try to escape out the window. CNN.com: Have you ever tried to escape from anywhere? Ian: One time I was trying to escape from school. I was looking around and sneaking, going tiptoe. Then my teacher said, “I caught you!” (This report has not been confirmed.) For more "Toy Story 3" reviews or to upload your own, head over to iReport. |

As entertaining as the movie! Kudos Macie and Ian!
well more of a synopsis rather than review but for a 4 y/o – pretty good and cute.
Not exactly the review I would give it, but it was really a wonderful movie that I would highly recommend... especially if you're already a Toy Story fan. Oh, and the short film in the beginning was awesome, too!
Toooo cute!
that review is too precious. Well done. I can't wait to go see this.
