Justin Timberlake sings backup for Sheryl CrowFirst he brought sexy back and now he’s bringing sexy backgrounds. Sheryl Crow has revealed that Justin Timberlake will provide backing vocals on her cover of Terrence Trent D’Arby’s hit “Sign Your Name,” from her upcoming album “100 Miles from Memphis.” Their collaboration, however, was purely an accident. Crow says she had been recording in an L.A. studio when she bumped into Memphis native JT, 29, who was producing tracks for Jamie Foxx. “[Timberlake] was in the hallway,” Crow, 48, told Billboard.com. “I've always liked him. I played [the song] for him, and when it got to the chorus he's like, 'Who's doing the backgrounds?' I said, 'We haven't done them yet,' and he said, 'I got it.' It was all very organic and, man, perfect. People have no idea how talented this guy is." Crow's new album drops July 20. |

I haven't cared for where Sheryl Crow has ventured in her music. It seems fake and too poppy. I loved her rock and folk style in the early days, but now...eh, not so great.
I 100% agree with you 2damnfunny she does need to leave that song alone her and JT, some songs just shouldn't be touched.
When incidents like this happen....this is when music is at its best. Sheryl Crow fantastic in her own space, and
Justin Timberlake swimming in his own river...Two different music genre's collaborating to bring out something new
and fresh....cant wait!!
I'm sorry but she needs to leave that song alone.
