'Simple' haircut back in styleStill can't decide on the perfect summer haircut? The answer is Simple - as in Simple Jack, the slow-witted character played by Ben Stiller in "Tropic Thunder." Originated by Moe Howard of "The Three Stooges" in the 1930s, the style had all but disappeared until Simple Jack brought the bowl cut back in 2008. Now the look is enjoying a revival yet again thanks to artists like Rihanna and Lady Gaga. In her new video "Alejandro," Gaga models the "Simple" in platinum while her male backup dancers wear it in jet-black. Last weekend, Rihanna created a buzz when she turned up at a concert in Spain with a shocking red do that would make Simple Jack proud. |
