What about Barbara Billingsley (aka Mrs. Cleaver)
Tom "T-Bone" Wolk, bassist/guitarist for Daryl Hall and John Oates as well as many others.
Nasty comments on here about Simon Monjack. Wow – I had no idea you knew him personally. He was a screenwriter – one of which was a movie called Factory Girl. He may not have had the celebrity status of Brittany Murphy, but who are we to determine that he was a leech? Just tasteless – show some courtesy. I feel bad for everyone personally affected by their deaths which occurred in such a short span of time. They are together now.
I agree about the tasteless remark. People are just picky with whom they consider a celebrity... to be honest who really cares? If he's on the list or not, people should just pay their respects or hold their negative remarks if they have nothing better to say. I also agree that the deceased metal stars mentioned in another post should be included... it's only "fair" I suppose.
yes, you omitted Pernell Roberts who played Adam Cartwright on the popular "Bonanza" series and played Trapper John on the tv series "Trapper John MD", both of which are still shown today in syndication. He was excellent in both shows. He passed Jan 24, 2010.
Corin Redgrave..brother of Lynn passed away a couple months before she did.
jazz legend hank jones
Mark Linkous...Spaklehorse
"Rob
Simon Monjack was not a celebrity. His wife was. He was a leech."
Your wife is a leech...guess where she's sucking?
Your ear? o_O
Brittany Murphy isn't on the list because she died in late 2009. Monjack and Casey Johnson were not stars, though, so not sure why they are included.
Brittany Murphy died in 2009, December. Gary Coleman is on the list.
I did not know Helen Wagner had died. I was just wondering the other day since As the World Turns was ending later this year if they were going to give Nancy Hughes the last line since she had the very first line of the show...how sad
Mac & Brandy...Britney Murphy died in 2009.
However, her husband was not a star...and where the heck is Peter Steele of Type O Negative??? He was way more inportant than Simon Monjack!!
Ron Banks of the (Dramatics) r&b group pass away.
I can't believe there is a list that DOESN"T include RONNIE JAMES DIO!! PETER STEELE from Type O Negative, Paul Gray from Slipknot. Metal has lost alot of fine soldiers.
Dorothy Provine
Simon Monjack? Seriously? I didn't know who he was until Brittney Murphy died... take him off this list!
Um, I didn't see Britney Murphy on there, just her husband....
I don't see Brittany Murphy and Gary Coleman in the list
The reason she isn't on there is because she died in 2009!
Peter Steele of Type O Negative is missing as well.
The major stars you're missing are Robert Culp, Kathryn Grayson, Fess Parker, Pernell Roberts, and Jean Simmons. They should all be added to the slideshow, as shouldRonnie James Dio, Art Linkletter, and Merlin Olsen.
Simon Monjack was not a celebrity. His wife was. He was a leech.

Paul Gray, bassist for Slipknot died on May 24th
What about Art Linkletter?
Isn't it a little early to be looking back on 2010?
